<p>My husband wanted me to create a cave for his lil ratonga and this is what I came up with for him. With a cave being so naturally dark the screenshots did not come out as well as I had hoped but most of it is captured. The window that naturally occurs as the regular part of the architecture in the FP house has been altered into an inset aquarium that my husband has STILL not went and quested for a fish for grrrr. Unfortunately the aquarium is one thing that did not come out very well in the screenies. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/2e207fad049d4d292f60607f80f05768.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /></p><p> This home can be viewed in person by visiting Cattnip at 1 Compassion Rd NFP on The Bazaar server.</p><p>The Entry</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>From the other side</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip13.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>The small aviary</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip5.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>The Library</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip4.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip3.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Looking towards the bedroom and necessary.</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip6.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip7.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip8.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip9.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip10.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip11.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip12.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Going upstairs to the loft portion</p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip14.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip15.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip16.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip17.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip18.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip19.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip20.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip21.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip22.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip23.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip24.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip25.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k448/nefariadarksoul/Cattnip/Cattnip26.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>That concludes our tour, I hope you enjoyed the lil cave <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /></p>

They look very similar to these but in a different shade of wood.

I've never thought much of those bookcases until I saw how you used them to such great affect! Nice home.

I created a character to visit it, and wanted to complement you on creating that "Rat Cave". Even though the pictures are great, I would recommend to anyone who likes this style to visit it in person as it is astounding.

<p>Wow.  You managed to make me completely lose perspective of where I was in a house - and that's not an easy thing to do.  I love this!!!</p>

That is amazing! I never know so many oggokian rock tables and ferrite cupboards could be used in one place, and arranged so well. It completely looks like a cave. very unique!

Very clever, I love how you did this. It looks amazing and totally transforms that whole layout and house to be really unique!

Very nice! I especially liked your bath/fountain thing and the way you used the moonstone pool and the pillars to give it a somewhat enclosed feeling, very pretty <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>I like the cave theme. I have been planning on a cave for my lil ratonga but just haven't had time, maybe now I will be more motivated <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Thanks! Of all the houses I have done, this remains one of my favorites. I will be sad when my husband sells lil cattnip, but whoever the buyer is will have a completed house, and I will still have the screenshots. Maybe it is time to build him a new rat cave over on the Antonia Bayle server. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>Nefaria,</p><p>In the screenshot right after "looking towards the bedroom & necessary", on the left side are rock formations the same coloration as the floor, suggesting oggokian rables or chairs, they look very 'natural'.  What is actually being used to create that look? </p><p>Thanks</p>

I am currently working on a t3 hall without my own carpenter and I don't think this is an experience I want to repeat again anytime soon lol.</p>

<p>Nefaria,</p><p>Last night I created a character on Bazaar server and went to the address shown but "Cattnip at 1 Compassion Rd NFP on The Bazaar server" was not found listed on the Visitor list.  Has Cattnip gone elsewhere?</p><p>I can see that Freeports rooms have a better basis regarding the interior wall and floor 'stone' graphic available. I am trying to get this to work for my dwarf in Qeynos.  In setting up the roof, I can see the bottoms of the Oggok table legs in your screenshots.  Using the ability to raise/lower the item while setting it in place makes things easier.  Did you ever use the bottom of Oggok chairs, fully enlarged to help "even out" the ceilings or did you use all oggok tables?</p><p>Thank you this inspirational work.  I am challenged to complete 1 of my 2 rooms to be cave-like but find space limitations will require me to make the walls 'granite' looking while the floors have the dark 'basalt' coloring look. </p><p>I will make it work in the long run.</p><p>Sincerely,</p>
