Any plans to make this secondary/ranged or is there a specific reason it's secondary only? With the amount of good shields in this tier for priests this item would be a lot better suited as being able to be used in the ranged slot.

The slot was set to secondary-only on purpose. I realize there are a number of shields that might be used over this, but I wanted healers to have to make that choice, rather than this just becoming "the best" ranged slot item.

This item is far from best lol, cause it procs only from melee attacks and not from beneficial spells or healing spells.

No, it would become the best ranged slot item. Range slot items for priests are very limited. Please name me another range slot item (With the exception of claymore for mt shamans) that would even come close to this thing. Its already incredibly overpowered as it is, considering just a few of them give like perma aoe avoid.

Yeah i know it would become overpowered if it was triggering from beneficial spells/heals. That's why it procs from melee just because Fyreflyte likes to add red stats to items so this kinda red stat that you have to melee a mob to get healing proc. And anyway Claymore pwns everything and it's sad, dunno though how for other priests. If you don't use Claymore in your ranged for healing you probably use Censer of Syllokk.

Even just on melee it procs a sh*t-ton. It doesn't need to be changed. And you can melee any mob in the game really (except maybe a few avatars/tangrin) even as a MT priest.

The problem, is the item you're wanting to make ranged equipable, is overpowered as possible for an item that procs off melee attacks for priests.  AE Avoid, raid-wide de-aggro, raid-wide ward, etc.  It's crazy insane.  As Snark states, most people have no idea how powerful this item is, and making it always equippable, would be OP.

Priests need a few items in t8.... better ranged items and charm slots.... at least like the melee/mage classes get
