View Full Version : Kaeshi's Maze and House (AB Server)

<p>After some work, Shikaeshi's 1-room house in Neriak has been remodeled. There are still small details to add, such as her books, the place settings, and a knife for her cutting block. However, the big parts are now finished and ready to show.</p><p>This is how her house used to look. Unfortuantely, she was restricted both by her housing count and by the lack of round flat solid surfaces that you can't see through. With the introduction of T8, her house got a new look, including platforms that you can no longer see through.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse3.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse1.jpg" border="0" alt="" width="960" height="768" /></p><p>Welcome to Kaeshi's house. As you walk in, you see the option to go in several different directions. Her home reflects her mind. It's whimsical, multi-faceted, and combines both chaos and organization.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse1-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>To the left as you enter is her kitchen.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiKitchen.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>To the right is her dining room.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiDining.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Going up the stairs, you see this inquisitor's shrine to Innoruuk. After all, what self-respecting member of <a rel="nofollow" href="http://guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=151467&TabID=1285238" target="_blank">the Discipleship</a> does not follow the Prince of Hate?</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiAltar.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Going up the steps, you then see the layout of the rest of her home. The path from the altar leads to her library. From there it leads to her sitting area. From there, it branches off to either her bed or her dressing area.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse3-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiHouse2-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>The lack of appropriately-sized beds that suited her sometimes extravagent and vain personality was a problem, but the pillows that were offered by the Arcane Scientists for her work against the Void worked nicely. (This is actually going to get a tad bit more work.)</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiBed.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Going through her dressing area, we find her bathroom. It's equipped for both bathing and showering and comes fully plumbed. It also affords her enough room to dry her wings out when she finishes bathing.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiBath1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiBath2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>As you go back down her main steps, you notice that the room seems to be missing space under the large loft. You take a closer look and realize that the wall dividing her floor in half does not stretch all the way from side to side. It has two openings. You enter one of the openings and find yourself in a maze. You turn a corner in the maze and find an unfortuante guest who never made his way back out.</p><p><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h271/Rokujou_EQ2/Decorating/KaeshiMazeGuest.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p>

Wow, that's really cool!  I love the use of the globes and the floating platforms.  I really like your bathtub too!  I might need to steal that idea sometime <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I'm going to have to drop by and try my hand at the maze, after hoping up and down all the globe stairs of course. As always, a fantastic update.

The maze is fairly simple as it only takes up half the room. I am, however, working on a much larger maze for a coercer's playroom using different building materials... ones that will hopefully take up less space than the teak bookcases do.
