Hiya! Here's my attempt on a "Asian-inspired" monk temple. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />Let's begin with the entrance:<img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/pillarentrance1.jpg" border="0" alt="" />The entrance is simple, with four large pillars and a fireplace at the far end of the room. <img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/pillarentrance2.jpg" border="0" alt="" />If you look up......<img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/waterfall2.jpg" border="0" alt="" />To the right, some kind of a rock garden with a double waterfall. A place for relaxation and meditation, perhaps? This got about 3 times larger than I had thought it would to begin with, though.... and ate about 1/3 of the total item count. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /><img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/waterfall1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/waterfall3.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/diningroom1.jpg" border="0" alt="" />Upstairs, you will find the dining area. I decided to use low tables and straw mats/pillows to sit on. <img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/kitchen1.jpg" border="0" alt="" />The kitchen area. I decided to only put out food items that looked kind of "natural", as I figured a monk order would probably prepare means from the ground. So there are no cakes or Erollisi marsipan in this kitchen. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /><img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/kitchen3.jpg" border="0" alt="" />Take a plate, and serve yourself.<img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/dojo2.jpg" border="0" alt="" />The training area, just to the left of the entrance. Had to keep it very simple, was beginning to run low on item space. <img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/dojo1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/batharea1.jpg" border="0" alt="" />Downstairs, you will find a small bath area and the sleeping hall. <img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/myrtelolaf/bunker1.jpg" border="0" alt="" />The sleeping hall. Unfortunately, at this point I was running seriously out of item space, so I could't do much out of it. Hope you enjoyed the tour! Lastly, I'd like to thank everyone here for the inspiration and letting me borrow ideas. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Very beautiful fountain, quite tranquil and front room i like that effect with the columns. And the buffet looks very inviting. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Wow, what a great job.  You really caught the feel of a monk temple, and the rockery and waterfall are gorgeous, very fitting for the area too <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

I love the cohesiveness of the temple idea throughout.  I also am a sucker for seeing those stacked plates and bowls...very nice touch <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I feel like I'm in the mountains of a sanctuary, learning the monkly arts of combat and meditation. I like the use of the stone and water. Very tranquil.

I really love this!  The plates stacked I don't think I have ever seen before, I would have never even thought to do it, makes the setting all the better.  Very well done! <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
