"... put your hands on your hips goes like this Do the watusi like my little Lucy"It is late, I'm tired, and yes, I'm currently revisting ancient history of my choral days with bits and pieces of "Land of a Thousand Dances". Don't ask me why, as I'm not really sure, other than having an alliterative moment when trying to come up with a catchy thread title, but ... {shrug} After eyeing this many new weapon types today and putting together charts, I'm feeling (even more) wierd (than usual).Anywayyy, while I don't give out hard stats on items, since those can still change on Test, I've got a review of names, types, ratios, ingredients, looks and all that jazz for you in the EQ2 Traders Corner GU45 Crafted Weapon Preview. Check it out, and I bet you'll agree after looking it over, that a redhead with a scourge in her hands is even scarier than said redhead with a whip ... and seeing her with some of those 2-handed slashers in her hands may give a few of you grey hairs!

Great work as always!And I see nothing at all wrong with a halfling carrying large quantities of sharp, pointy weapons .... nothing at all.

Nice write-up, just one minor nit-pick. On your Damage rating table the 2 handed (handcrafted) is mislabeled as 1 handed.

Great work! This goes to NiamiDenMother, Domino and the art team. While I'm sorry that there is no STR / WIS 2handed crushing weapon anymore, the weapon look really nice. (stat and appearance) My level 44 Berserker on live can't wait to get his hands on one of this weapons.

I understand it's probably cosmetic, but it could confuse those using the Dressing Room feature ...

It is just a small drawback for the MinMaxer inside me, as there are currently weapons with only STR and WIS

I fixed the 1-H/2-H oops on that one table. Thanks for catching that! I was doing creative multitasking most of yesterday to get this done.

The voulge preview is something to /feedback.

I already put in /feedback about the "short spear" being the longest of the one-handed spears.

Sharp, pointy weapons are fun! Though ones that are larger than me can get a bit creative. {snicker} Kaisha and Calthine were saying that the 2-handed sword shots that I then used on my front page as me "going Highlander" on myself when I was asking them which of the pics to use on the front page. (They finally both resorted to magic dice, both of which came up with the same number!)

"Sorcerer" only has one "o", not two. Is that a mistake in-game or just in Mum's preview?Powers &8^]Edit: and I'm still disappointed in the lack of axe options. =(

I'll ask Niami to check her WS for that as a typo on all the Staffs.

* scratches head *

Maybe I am just being stubborn but some things still do not make complete sense to me.

From the preview it reads as if there are 3 two-handed crushing weapons that STR, STA and WIS, only differing in appearance. There are also 2 one-handed spears that provide STR, WIS and INT. Not to mention that one of these spears is the Great Spear which in the past would have indicated a two-handed weapon.

Perhaps these are just typos as I have been informed that this wasn't the case. Either way, I think this shows that there is potentially room for the STR/WIS only two-handed crushing weapon suggested above and the STR/STA/WIS or STR/WIS only two-handed piercer I have suggested in the past.

Just some late feedback from a low level melee mystic that relies heavily on crafted weapons...

More eyes = better, provided those eyes are also putting in /bug reports where needed, and I'm really glad to see folks taking hard looks at these and providing feedback on them!
