Am I the only one concerned that the merging of the single target cures is going to make our already only marginally useful Cures AA tree even less useful? For those unaware of what is happening in the next live update, all single target cures will be combined into one spell with a one second cast time and instant recast. On the surface this doesn't seem like a huge concern (other than the fact that we can't decide what to cure first and that the single target cure currently has a 10m range, but those are themes for other threads). When I first heard about this I was excited because I assumed that SOE would have to change the Cures AA line in some way to make it work with this. However......Instead of doing anything to make the Cure line more useful, as you can see they changed it so that the reactive heal will ONLY affect your target if something was cured when the spell was cast. Now I concede a 324 hit point reactive with one or two triggers isn't a huge heal, but with some of the RoK mobs any bit can help. However when this will only trigger off a cure, we can no longer cast cures when all our heals are down for that boost, or keep the cure trauma reactive up on tough fights. I have had the cure trauma reactive account for around 5% of my heals. Now the only reason I have to keep points in Cures is that I really have no where else to put them. This AA tree needs some serious consideration.Aeolian80 TemplarAntonia Bayle

I was concerned about this myself. I'll have to see exactly how this will effect my Temp in PvP as well.

As far as the cure changes - MEH. is what i have to say. Most good Ui's took care of the cure issue already, though someone fairly deft with the hotbars/keyboard could cycle through thier cures with out much issue.

I do have a sigh of relief for raiding though, It gets tedious casting 5 differnt, no wait. make that 6 differnt type of cures on people.

The 4 just make things interesting. We have that silly cure for shard of hate, and the group arcane cure.

For the healing tics on the cures - I found that aa line to be so bloody bugged that i unspecced it and poured the points into sooth/complancy line even though it's not so great either.

-B-

I am worried since I see what it will do for the Cure reactives. As ppl said before it make them totally worthless. The onebuttonise is in line of the simplyfing of the game and I guess some ppl want it to be a s simple as possible. Why not just have one heal.

Sigh I am probably just bitter but ... Nope its just another step in the wrong direction.

/Tash

Leave the cures as they are. You basically make curing easier but you totally ruin most AA cure enhancements (even more useless then they are now) As a templar, if I need to remove some detrimental effect for my cure to proc reactive than I dont need to cure and take cure AA anymore. Warden cures much faster than I do (if i dont want to cancel my 4s heal spell anyway)

Well since this silly change in the cures has made the reactives useless, I guess I'll use my free respec to place all those points some place else. I don't see why the change was made in the first place. Like I said..silly.

Thanks god I am not the only one botherd by this. I made a post in the original thread asking if this would make our AA line worthless. Dev commented as saying no the reactive will still work and cure. So far afteer 3 days of paying I have not sdeen one cure reactive buff on a person I cured.

/bugged all weekend. If no fix by friday then I will respec.

I see my Cure AAs going off all the time with this cure change. It places the right cure reactive on group member I cast it on. If no one has a debuff on them it will not put a cure reactive on them. They have to have a debuff in order for it to work.

Ya it has it good and bad. The good is that you can cure 4 debuff in a single cast if there is one of each type of debuff on the target. The bad thing is the lost of been able to pre-reactive the resist type, which really would have been too powerful with a single cure for would be able to have up to 35 reactive ready before fight for the price of a single cure. That would be a bit powerful.
