Okay, i'm growing disenchanted with INT for PvP- I love Scourge (when it lands) but in EverScout it's the equivalent to a chocolate teapot, and Rabies just doesnt hit hard enough even with 8 points in it. I'm considering a switch to STR, and i'm wondering how viable it is. Does the ward proc often, is it affected by Ancestry, and how much does it ward for with 8 points in it? And is Leg Bite a useful skill?

I'm in the same boat you are...I've used both, STR & INT, and Scourge is awesome when it lands, 1 out of 10 times. Rabies is awesome PVE, but like you say for PVP, it just doesn't compare.I'm thinking about going INT to the point of getting full pts into rabies, and then working down the STR line.As for ancestry working as intended, I really don't see that big of a change with it on, or off.

Ah... PvP Mystic advice... Hard to obtain when all the PvP Mystics together could not form an x2.STR vs INT is a debate I have had with just about every Mystic on the red servers. Well the debate applies to us solo/small group speced Mystics. The full heal spec Mystics (Like Breanna, to whom I have a lot of respect for, for playing the class as intended) use a totally different gear/AA spec.I have tried the INT line several times. When it works it works great. It can explode your target and strip a ton of buffs. The issue is the resistability, my estimate is about 60% of the time it will not land unless you have high disruption... Which yes the WIS line offers but that line starts to defeat the reason of a melee Mystic when you start to drop 50 points to get scourge. The real issue is when you are scourge speced you think you must get it off and end up wasting a lot of time trying to get it off. It the time of one resist I can get half of my ca's off if not more, plus several auto attacks (Which with 73% DA can be brutal). You lose the melee mentality when you have to get a spell off.Now the STR line has many added benefits. Hast mod of at least 8 (Personally I have it up to 14), Leg Bite which does minimal dps but when macroed to your ca's you never have to click it, free wards allowing you time to dps, and the added dog dps can actually make or break a fight. Its a free AE immune swarm pet the wards, provides haste, and added some dps. All things that will help you burn your target down quickly.I'd say go STR... Macro /pet attack to your first ca and Leg Bite to your second ca.... Thus you never have to worry about the dog. If you're watching your back you can preward before a scout reaches you... If you pop your immunities you're free to dps away without any stun/stifle... Turns yourself into a fully prewarded, immune from control effects, scout! As for the rest of the points... Totally up to you as Mystics have a varity of playstyles... I just inspected another Mystic and laughed when I noticed the difference in stats... She had 600 more WIS than me. Same PvP title, both near the top of the class leaderboards. Willing to bet that PvE Mystics would /rofl at my WIS.Anyways thats my best advice next to the spec that hasn't led me wrong...STR 4-4-7-8-2AGI 4-8-8-2-2STA 4-8-8
