Been herding them since I got that spell that summons them (can't get to remember the name). So much "work" for nothing *lol* but nice anyway. Good move, SOE.

nice and all, but where the hell is our defense in pvp?  Sick and tired of dieing in 1 second over and over to scouts.

Not 100% sure though.

Along with this (which I really never minded anyhow) can we please have outta group rez (we are masters of the undead - not just htose in our group) and how about Mana Shield or Drain Pet Health for PVP as a defense option (would work the same as mana shield excpet drains pet health instead of our mana).  Per your precious lore Neecros are the masters of soloing ans they are shunned by near everyone else.  Please adjust in game lore to fit this for pvp too - IE: A snare that DOES NOT break itself and has a 35-50m range extended by aa maybe.  An upgrade to our snare would be nice too - been a few tiers I think since our last.  Fear that cannot be broke for 20s (OP you say - how about charm - it lasts that long - long enough to watch you group mate die while you can do nothing).  Unbreakable fear would be = to that ability.  And a disease damage shield similiar to wardens/furies that actually heals us for every point of damage they take (not damage they do).  Yes, yes, these ideas would all prove you love for the necro.  Also, casting Fear and snare on the run (both with a 50m range) would lvl the playing field some.  Kinda like illusionists casting mezz on the run - it could be claimed you always meant to give us a class defining ability and fear is definitaly our class defining idea.  Now let us reach out there and say high to those scouts that can turn us to putty b4 our first spell goes off.

For yeas necro's been asking for help in pvp.  This game is BOTH pve and pvp.  Right now most classes kill a necro with zero risk.  Don't go by your pve /duel or arena sets. Those aren't pvp rulesets.  Currently the life expectancy of a t8 necro on a pvp server is less than 4 seconds. Thats from a non burst dps class.  A burst dps class = 1 second flat. Upgrading useless things like invis breaking on zoning and the anguish gems we get from a debuff we use always is really lame.

I'm by no means a PvP guru but I see so many flaws in eq2 from the pvp point of view that I'd say it's just crying for impossible. This is not to say to all of the PvP players to shut up and stop crying. You have the right to express your frustration. Just that I think all the effort is doing more to annoy other players than to annoy soe devs.

This applies to you in know way since your PVE. And for your information, this game is NOT an addopn.  If so where's my addon discounted rate of payment each month? I pay same as you do and should have a working product same as you. Telling the pvp people we're lower in your eyes and are nothing more than an addon is nothing more than an insult.

Since PvP is in addition to PvE, it's in essence an additional feature, not an alternitive feature. Look up top, see the topic?  allow me to read it to you "<b>Re:GU45: No More Essence of Anguish</b> ". So your bashing someone, for asking why a topic on a reagent needs to turn into PvP ~vs~ PvE issue, then telling them that if they don't like your derailment to the thread, their basically in the wrong spot.  Where else could you have posted your opinion on class balance?  I would have to say not in a topic based on a change in reagents. For the record, you do have a working product just like we do, it's called the PvE side of the PvP world, their identical.  I won't argue that PvP could use improvements, but you get every single upgrade, change and content that we do, and them some.

That's more or less what I wanted to say, Zarador. I just don't have the english skills to express it so clearly. And, Dracot... Have a chill, mate. Please. I had absolutely no intention to insult you in any way. My apologies. Now... Can we go back to the Essence of Anguish topic?

I think certain people are missing the point. For Warlocks Nil Crystals are a pain in the butt and will be removed in GU45, just think of the outcry if classes with similar mechanisms did not have there component requirements removed as well.I have a Warlock who has to go out and actively farm Nil Crystals destroying large areas of lowbie zones. On my Coercer I end up throwing thoughtstones away.In reality this is just a side effect of the Warlock change. Take it for what it is. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

<p>Please do not derail the thread with PvP complaints, especially not when the OP has nothing to do with PvP at all.  If you wish to bring up perceived necro performance issues in PvP, then utilize an existing thread or start a new one, but do not hijack something that is not related to PvP at all.</p><p>Please, complain constructively.  That means no whining, moaning, yelling or other related adjectives.  Remember, you'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.</p>
