View Full Version : Got INT?

I've been unable to find any clarifying statement that explains the exact purpose of INT, so I was hoping I could find an answer here.Apart from increasing the damage on the casted damage spells, does INT do anything? Does it increase healing aswell, because I'm wearing the sta/wis/int mastercrafted, and removing all of it doesn't change my heal spells' outcome at all, and neither does it do anything to my combat arts from the battle cleric line. So, aren't battle clerics sort of limited in the mastercrafted plate armour department? I mean, we have the choice between sta/str/int (devout), sta/wis/int (plate) and sta/str/agi (vanguard) plate, where str/sta/wis would be the only ideal option ... What do you other inquisitors recommend, then?- Vanguard with STR and STA but no WIS, and a useless stat,- Plate with WIS and STA but no STR, and a useless stat,- Devout with STR and STA but no WIS, and a useless stat?

Intelligence does indeed increase the DoT part of AA melee attacks, as well as our reactive damage procs. I usually don't focus on int though, as it comes with most healer-jewelry. No stat affects the amount of healing you do.The Str/Int armor is nice solo. You don't need wis solo. (Devout?)Str/Wis is nice in groups if you have melee AAs. (Righteous? maybe only exists in higher tiers)Int/Wis is nice in groups if you use spells. (Plate?)

STR- adds damage to trauma based damage

INT- adds damage to arcane, noxious and elemental based damage - in varying degrees depending on the source e.g proc/DoT/clicky etc

(at least i know this to be true for the inquis)

Not only does int add to the Dot section of the AA CA's so does +spell damage. +CA damage adds to the melee section.

As for MC gear wisdom is pretty overrated. Extra power and resists are useful but IMO more damage saves you having to heal so much which means less power spent. That and the T8 devout gear has STR, INT, +CA, and +spell damage. Pretty awesome i'm telling you.

And this annoys me a tad. :)
