Problem switching between EU / US

Hello, I have played on both the US and EU servers, although mainly on the EU servers currently. I have switched back and forth a couple of times with no problems. However this morning I switched to US as I was looking at transferring a character, and found the US servers were down for a patch. I then changed back to EU but now I have problems playing on the EU servers. The EQ2 client hangs on "loading zone info" and full file scans and patching back and forth between regions has not helped. There does not seem to be a problem with my PC as if I patch back to US I can log in and play fine, so this would suggest an issue with the new patch and switching regions.Are the EU servers going to be patched to GU42 soon or does it take a while? If it's going to be a while I will try to reinstall the entire game, but if they are going to patch tomorrow I may as well wait.

Generally speaking, the EU servers are updated 1-48 hours after the US servers.  There is almost always a delay, but we try to make sure it's not too long.

I am not really having issues switching between US and Euro servers. I use the Launch pad to play on US servers seems to work much smother. Currently at this time I am having issues logging in to a Euro server at all, it keeps getting stuck at trying log in server #1 and does not try a differnt one. I have tried picking a toon to play and going to charcter select and have the same issue. I then tired to log on to a US server with the launch pad and got right in. Just tried to log in using the main patcher and got right in to a US server. Are the Euro server still down?

Seems like it's the login server that is fubared. Someone replied in another thread that he/she could tracert down to Splitpaw server, so it makes me think it's the regular [Removed for Content]-eu-login-server-command that has been launched as usual. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

It is possible that they have the login for those servers locked at the moment, Splitpaw is for sure locked.
