EoF Achievements: Enchanting-Savant

What does the Enhance: Savant in the EoF AA progression actually do?  Other than give more points towards Illus. Arm.  I don't mean the definition that eq2wiki has, either.  Is there a spell that goes with it?  Is it a passive buff?

<p>Savante is a level 52 temporary spell cost decreaser, i believe 25% decrese in power to cast any spell for you and your group members.</p><p>By putting points in the AA ability it simply extends the duration by X number of seconds. (1 point = 5 additonal sec).</p><p>Its a handy spell for those cases when your group is running low on power and need a saving in power cost to finish that last mob.....</p><p>I dont cast it much being as most fights i never see below 60% left in power...but for a healer this can be a nice thing to use when they need to squeeze out a couple of more heals to save the group/tank.</p>

But i think the power reduction is close to 50% (adept III). it will help you keep your power under 30% .if its up it lower the power cost of the power feed aa ability so it only cost around 5% and youll get 20% power back.</p><p> btw lancestorm i hope you mean 60% of 30% power <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

For any new Illusionists who are wondering - they are referring to the Volatile Magic ability from the Int AA line, and yes Savante is also good to fire off when below 30% so you can blast away without running out of power.
