As a recovering token addict, I like this idea. No Exile reward, but at least I'm collecting my precious tokens again.

As an Exile, I agree with your statement to a point. I got Slayer yesterday, but in my attempt to flee to Haven... I dropped to Hunter. Dam, so close to "Slayer" immortality!

They don't get status or tokens. At least give them tokens. I don't see what's wrong with exiles wearing token gear either. So what if they COULD have all classes for raiding, who says people on a PVP server want to raid? People would still stay in the cities for cheaper broker fees and the safety of having people on their side that cannot attack them.

Untill sony gives all factions all classes then no pvp gear for exiles. Why should exiles get pvp gear and easier raids? If pvp gear was availible for exiles what possible reason would anyone have NOT to exile?

imo - that wouldnt encourage people to leave exile.if you want people to encourage leaving exile soe wouldhave to make even more penalties for being exile..no guild registration etc etc ^^ not that i want to have that happenbut i think there are ways to get exileds chose a city faction ^^

(( Guys guys.. read more carefully. The OP is sayingDONT GIVE EXILES PVP GEAR!JUST let them loot Tokens(SO that when they GO BACK to a City, they can get pvp gear...)(( but i guess what is stopping them from just going back exile after.... which.. yeah i guess that isnt any good too cos its just a workaround..*sigh*))

I think I would have to stick with the "Decaying Titles" idea.

If you dont engage in a PvP fight for so many "In-Game Hours" then your title starts to decay.

For example: If you dont engage in PvP for 20 "In-Game Days" then you drop one Title Rank (Champion to Destroyer) I dont know how many in-game days there is to one real world day, but i would assume 3 real world days would be a good option for this.

Now this only counts as in game hours played, so if you are loged out you are not loosing in-game hours. So if you are a General and you take a month of of the game you can log in and still be a General. But if you are loged in and afk or raiding you are burning In-game hours. So this would make people go out and pvp atleast once every 3 days or they loose a rank.

Perigrine

The PVE raid set gear made in Danak shipyard from end game raiding that requires a raid drop to create....make exiles spend 100 or so Tokens in addition to all the normal costs of creating them. Be carefull what you wish for you just might get it. You would see Onyx and Kracken become bloodthirsty griefers if they were forced to pvp as an additional step to get their end game raid armor. I think it would be fun.

BTW - Just because you have tokens and have the PvP gear doesn't mean you can equip it. You have to have the right city alignment - just like it is now.-Blink
