You have track and Evac and dps, i'd go for bruiser in your case. No positional attacks, lots of dps, a big self heal and taunts.

yeah i'd suggest Shadowknight OR Bruiser both have the ablility to survive and both are capable of DPS, Sk's have better Aoe damage and are better with more targets where as bruisers excel in solo targets, both have the ablility to heal, Sk have lifetaps harmtouch, proc buffs and moslty spell damage, where as bruisers have teleport, stoneskin, heat damage proc buffs and mostly heat damage combat arts, both classes can FD (Feign Death) so i suppose it narrows down to what u prefer.

But are these classes good in pvp aspect solo and group?

if you learn to play either one of those classes then they will both own solo pvp, look at trison 80sk i've never seen him loose 1 vs 1, and as for bruiser they are built for solo and that includes pvp, both can taunt (although not as good as a guardian) but they make up for there taunt duration with there DPS, so i'd say yes both are very good solo and grouped in pvp IF you choose the right AA's AND most importantly learn how to play your class, also gear has alot to do with those classes as there are gear dependent.

Honestly, In a PvP duo these are probably the worst combo sadly. Necro dps and ability to stay alive is very poor, and dirge is pretty much the same. Plus, dirge buff are more melee orientated, meaning that the buffs which make the class won't really help the necro.

Ajjantis is right, a bruiser would work nicely with the group. That would make the dirge relevant because as the other person posted, dirge is more melee oriented. The odd man out is really the necro, which should be replaced with a healer. Most people will say druid right away, but there are soooo many of them because they are out of line in pvp regards with other healers. For something a little different, shamans are the lowest played healer on the server, try a defiler if you want to be evil. Defiler buffs to a bruiser are rotten because of hps and such the bruiser class already has. The defiler could also at least gain something from the dirge if melee specced.

soe has done a good job of making any class valuable. Some honestly are more wanted for specific groups with specific goals and I hear raids are even more specific about group make up but in a 3 man group with a necro and a dirge its really whatever your friend wants to play.A tank can taunt sure but a dps class will help with extra dps, a chanter could really delay opponents and help a lot in pve too. a warlock can dps incredibly. any pred/rogue class can dps great. Healers give heals and heals are awesome. In the end unless your goal is just winning I'd say have your friend pick what he thinks will be fun. Another person in the group will make it much stronger no matter what class.

Ok after the str line i'd go for int, for the crits;Eagle intelligence-4,eagle spin-4,eagles fury-8,eagles talon-6 and finally eagle streak-1. Now if you happen to get ur hands on some very high end fabled 1hander weps, these have to include an imbuned spell, a big damage rating and a long delay, if u get those i'd suggest dumping the str line and going for wisdom line, to get the most out of those weps u can. And for wis i'd go, Wisdom-4,crane sweep-5,crane twirl-6,crane growth-8 and crane flock-1, remember the wisdom line ONLY if u happen to get ur hands on some high end fabled like i explained in the above, btw always keep the int line since it gives u the ablility to survive near death and do more damage near death.

Shadowknight

Ok for the SK full crits are important i'd suggest going firstly the Intelligence line; int-5,legionnaires smite-4,and finally legionnaires wrath-8, theres no need to spend AA in the heal crit since sk's only have lifetaps and well if the spell is crit then so is the heal. Now for the STA line, for maximum health;stamina-8,hammer ground-4,fervor of faith-8-for the crits, sentrys bulwark-8 for health and finally divine aura-1 for the 10 second invincibility, if u get mega health then most likely u will be invincible since it only absorbs attacks less then 50% of ur total health. As for the Shadowknight tree-unholy weapon-5,infernal blessing-5,leech touch-5 then gradually work your way down to the ability called reaver, it's a buff that has a chance to lifetap 1.5% of ur max health on a SUCESSFUL hostile spell, which is nice considering it will most likely crit.
