<p>So I get XP back on my computer, start to reinstall EQ2. when it's all said and done, I get an fatal error message, stating something to do with DirectX9.</p><p>This is happening just as in the Intro screen shows up after the patcher</p><p>any suggestions/help?</p>

<p>*bump*</p><p>I've also tried reinstalling DirectX (using directX10)</p><p>I'd apprechiate if I got an answer, due to the fact that this is becoming very fustrating</p>

<p>Im having the same problem with DX9</p><p>Same exact problem only the numbers at the end say 2391 instead of 1019</p>

(D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE)</p></blockquote>Post you dxdiag to verify, but suspect when you reloaded XP you neglected to install the chipset level drivers for your system, would hazard a guess that the dirctx, agp interfaces are all disabled due to missing drivers
