<p>Ill start with .. </p><p>OMG not again !!!</p><p>I would like to thank the developers of the new expansion and PvP .. </p><p>I would like to invite you to my house for a well deserved celebration for making such cra.. i mean creative decisions .. </p><p>The main course will be a dung burger with fries.. followed by arcenic soda .. and for desert .. well use your imagination.. </p><p>While here we can discuss how you came upon the idea to make a whole expansion of single content mobs and quests..  To ensure that no 6 people in a guild can be on the same quest series at the same time ..  GREAT!</p><p>That encourages people to run about in singles or duo so they can do their quests before they die of old age. </p><p>Im sure all of the scout classes would like to shake your hand .. for dotting the land with single targets .. so they can pick them off one at a time.. </p><p>i know several scouts sporting multiple PvP t8 items who love you . </p><p>But thats in not why im posting .. im posting because of the great decision to drop healers into combat when they are hit while fighting another mob . </p><p>That is genius .. pure genius .. the shower in gas while smoking kind of genius!! </p><p>Do you know that as a warden .. all of my heals have a hot component to them .. ill bet you didnt ..</p><p>well they DO .. imagine that .. ALL of my heals place a Hot on me .. not to mention spores .. which lasts for a long time .. procing heals on me .. </p><p>Of course .. the fact that a opponent who farts down wind of me places me into combat .. must have been by design .. </p><p>Well after my 6th death in a row today .. some from a scout who stealthed up to me , while being 1 foot tall , so my cat totems did jack .. and hit me with one attack from 40 m out .. locking me in combat with the mob.. and greying out my evac  ..  who wants to evac anyway .. not that i could have being hit by the mob and the scout ,, the interupts would have been too much for my WAL MART evac, but it sure would have been nice to try .. </p><p>But you know i was thinking perhaps I should decide when im in combat and not my opponent.. YES i think that would be great. </p><p>So untill i at least attack the opponent , target him ... i dont want to be in combat! </p><p>There was a time when as a heler i could stay out of combat and heal .. but the cry went out because . .healers in some situations could force a draw by not attacking .. wow a draw .. well that is just not acceptable ... imagine no one dying ... You are a Warden, the hardest class in the game to kill while you're "in-combat". If you were able to heal out of combat, and not be put into combat, it would take more than two people to kill you.

<p>It's not new.</p><p>And for me ALL people should be put in pvp, when someone else engage him. No more evac or runners !</p><p>You are on a pvp server, do you understand what that means?</p>

No more evac or runners !</p><p>You are on a pvp server, do you understand what that means?</p></blockquote>I agree.  It should be all in combat all of the time.One of the biggest issues I think that are ruining this game is the disparity between in-combat and out-of-combat abilities.All to often it seems like it is really Player vs IC/OOC Mechanics instead of Player vs Player...

<p>The whole point is that sometimes the decision is not yours.</p><p>You got attacked....  Congratulations, you're in combat now.  Sometimes your opponent gets to decide for you by attacking you first.  You're on a PVP server, sometimes enemies get to make your decisions for you.  That's kinda one of the points.</p>

Don't want to beat the dead horse more, but in case you weren't aware, healing yourself while under attack will put you in combat.  Back in the day, the biggest problem with furies is that they could attract your attention, out of combat heal themselves with efficiency and stay alive under any solo attack.  When you were out of mana, they'd finally engage.  This was rectified many updates ago.  And I agree with the above posters.  This game has been about "player versus mechanics" for the longest time.  Recently the devs have taken some well-awaited and welcome steps to make it more "player vs player".  Go devs!But seriously, just think about it.  YOU got close to a giant lizard with teeth and wings.Lizard kills YOU.YOU open IE to go whine about it.Critical failure!"Highway to the Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins playing in the background may add some caution to your game.-V

<p>Ok so .. does a fighter swinging his sword at the mob but him in combat?</p><p>Or a scout using a back attack ..</p><p>Or tell me please what ability classes other than healer have that guarantee that you will be put in combat if you get hit in the next 30 seconds. ?</p><p>Im fine with getting hit puts yo in combat .. as long as it across the board .. so when i try to snare an opponent poof he is in combat . </p><p>When i attack the scout poof no more evac.. </p><p>If that were the case the boards would be full of complaints ... </p><p>well here is mine ... when in a game .. scouts can now sneak up on me ... being a foot tall .. and from 40 m range .. fire one arrow at me .. and lock me in combat .. and now have the added edge of mobs who hit like trucks .. as well as them attacking me ... and i cant evac .. </p><p>Im sry that is one sided .... </p><p>and the fact is out of combat healing never resulted in a death from the healer .. at worst it resulted in another player comming along and killing you .. </p><p>And in today's t8 where scouts have the dps to kill you in 5 seconds .. wizards can crit for 6 or 7 k .. the out of combat healing would be a welcome change for me in t8 ..... </p>

I can only imagine what it would be like if they could heal, and never be put into combat.</p><p>You have a viable complaint, if only you would be reasonable about it.</p></blockquote>Yes.  In the old days, if you happend to be a [Removed for Content] and ran yourself out of power while trying to kill a WARDEN, and stood around while they began their attack, yes, you could die.  Oh pity, a scout dying to a solo-anything-else, go whine to the boards until the devs, who evidently also all play a scout of some flavor, hear your plea and nerf healing and invent a stupid backwards hitting you puts you in combat idiot mode game mechanic...  enough is enough, this change needs to be rolled back, heals need to be buffed up big time in T8 *and* dps needs to be toned down dramatically for mages and rogues.

I'd add Inquisitors in there but a melee spec'd Inquisitor is insanely powerful.</p><p>You have got to be kidding me. This coming from a Fury, the Wardens cousin who're the best healers in the game, easily as powerful as rogues? You're the last class that needs any changes, and it's not a buff! With all the healing proc items in the game Furies can heal equally as much as a Warden, and a Warden even more so than before.</p><p>A rogue is stupid enough to stay around? You could easily heal through the first burst damage a Rogue could throw at you, root them and annihilate them if healing didn't put you into combat. Rogues kill in the first six seconds of the attack, after that you've gained the upper hand. So it is not reasonable to even request that you can heal indefinately and remain out of combat. I'm even shocked anyone would suggest it. Right now the only classes who can efficiently kill a druid are Swashbucklers and Brigands, and if you ask many of them, they don't feel it's reliable enough.</p><p>I know it must be tough for you druids that people can actually kill you now, unlike before you were virtually unkillable by most of the classes in the game. Like many of you told us Rangers, suck it up. AND YOU HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN NERFED!</p>

When Out of Combat healing was allowed... There were plenty of people who decided to commit suicide by running themselves out of power in front of a healer.

<p>Ok then let me decide when im in combat .. not the player who managed to get into range and fire off one shot before i can see them .. </p><p>It just happened again .. i see 2 rangers comming at me.. i turn and run ...  mobs hit me .. proc spores .. arrow hits me... im in comabt .. </p><p>That is crap .. i would bring back the out of combat healing ina second.. if a scout can burn me down in 5 seconds .. then out of combat healing wont save me..  </p><p>I can post several and i mean many many many fights where i have died in 5 seconds or less having never entered combat.. </p><p>I have a post in here some place about that topic asking people to post being killed the fastest.. </p><p>If i cant decide when im in combat then no one should period! </p><p>so if any player takes any action including stealth .. pressing the evac button .. sprinting.. after i have hit them ... boom in combat. no exceptions </p><p>or stop placing me in combat .. because</p><p>1) you track locked me while you flew over.. </p><p>2) /targeted me from beyond visual distance.. </p><p>3) watched my power and health to see when i entered combat witha mob ... </p><p>4) Sprinted into range and fired one attack ... Insta win .. insta token .... insta bull </p><p>out of combat healing never killed anyone ... fact... its only power was to allow healers to draw on a 1 v 1 ... </p><p>and that was before .. combat logs looked like .... stuned ... stuned .. stifle ... kknockback .. interupt ... mez mez  charm .. knockback... whatever</p>

<p>Jitter</p><p>When I'm on my sorcerer, there are two spells I don't cast on myself if I don't want to be put immediately into combat when attacked. So maybe you shouldn't have spores up unless you're ready to be put into combat?
