Well, Frostfell is upon us and I have to say THANK YOU SOE. You have given us several gifts:1. The collection filter for the broker is uber. I closed out a lot of collections that I just was not taking the time to search for the last piece just using the quick and easy filter.2. You gave me, as a conj, the ability to shrink my pet a bit.3. You have wargrounds...I feel the holiday love as I have 2 80s trying to kill me when I collect presents (LOL, only complaint is the same map as last year)4. End of gank twinkage. For those that say it was a bunch of high level whining...WRONG. Low level twinks were irrelevant to higher level with the exception of the fact that you drove some potential new clients from the game. Face it, if your attempt is truly to explore the content of the game, you are unharmed...the pvp experience will not change life for you. If, you are out there to gank people, then you are harmed...as you should be. The only thing I think they could do differently for those that want pvp without the experience is create one new huge map (almost like arena) that players could enter that has pvp rules. I say huge map because you want people to work for kills. The new zone could allow twinks that want to test skill against other twinks, have at it with no xp and pvp rules. Fact it, gank squads were ruining the gameplay on the low end whether you guys face it or not. I, remember leveling a toon with no guild tag, a clothie out solo just to see what it was like...and there were people that would just endlessly gank you if you were trying to quest, whether on the recent list or not. Sure, it took a lot of skill for them to win 3 on 1 in the first place, but to kill the same toon over and over again was just dumb. I didn't let it bother me because I had my level 70 (max at time) and knew it got better up higher. IF, however, I was a new player, I would have never put up with that style of gameplay because it just showed poor sportsmanship and tact. Those days are over...good riddance. I don't avoid pvp, it isn't an elitist 80 thing, it is the fact that some bad apples destroyed the concept of pvp. I know many of you say that the new people should go to PVE if they can't handle getting ganked...are you crazy? Characters only begin to be defined at 20 (remember, this was from the setup of the subclasses when the game debutted), and gankers were driving people out before they even got to that point. Perhaps, those that are complaining about the pvp experience should not point finger at SOE or even the higher levels, but look at yourselves. Did you guys actually display decent sportsmanship...or was it overkill on your part? Getting corpse humped when dieing with 3 to 1 odds against you is exactly exciting. Sure, you still have some corpse humping losers hanging in t8, but for the most part, the code of conduct seems much greater than down in the gank areas. You guys can look at it as "war" and say they deserve to die, but in reality it is a game...and games should have sportsmanship. Way to forget that point...and then point fingers. THANK YOU SOE for standing up for the new guys. Now, maybe we can give the game as Christmas gifts and not be embarrassed by some players.5. Thank you for the AA spec profile....sure, I don't have it, but it is wonderful that you guys did it.Overall, I would say great update except the Frostfell stuff being identical to last year. Merry Christmas.PS...WOW has some great commercials.....break out the advertising for this one already.

You should try one.

<p>I would like to thank SOE for Frostfell too, and some other things as well-</p><p>Finally fixing the pet following issue.</p><p>Taking a zero tolerance stance on bots/spammers.</p><p>The aformentioned pet shrink spell, man I can really sleep better now that I can shrink my pet.</p><p>Making coercers a more viable class.</p><p>Changing back the worst game mechanic decision in the history of gaming.</p><p>Going through all the class boards and fixing all the known and documented bugs (coercer charms in ROK for example)</p><p>Re-doing all the high end spells that stun the caster while they are in effect.  Because having you high end toon be motionless/unusuable is lazy and an insult.  We want to be ACTIVE when we play not stunned and locked down by our own actions.</p><p>Take ten minutes and fix the PVP armor faction requirements so that it's possible to attain with the change.</p><p>Opening ALL zones on PVP so that if SOE doesn't want to take out the bots, at least we can.</p><p>huh..oh wait..../yawn, sorry guys, I must have been sleep-typing again, it was all just a Frostfell dream it seems.</p>
