View Full Version : Couple annoying PVP bugs

<p>I've only been back a few weeks, but I've already noticed that there are a few things still in that irked the hell out of me the last time I played. </p><p>First is how if you attack someone and they zone, after the person zones back in, you'll hit them with a few styles and autoattacks, regardless of how far away from the zone line you are. It will then break your stealth, put you in combat and make regenerating health and power, tracking and stealthing impossible. This seriously needs to be fixed... It makes absolutely no sense that I can be on the other end of the zone, trying to avoid a group and all of a sudden I'm unstealthed with 0% run speed because someone who zoned out on me zoned back in.</p><p>The other thing is--and I haven't played since no zoning while in PVP combat was implemented--a few times I've attacked someone just to have them run to the zone line and zone. I've got no problem with that--as long as when that person zones I'm taken out of combat, so I can escape the ubiquitous and everpresent gank squad that sits are pretty much every zone line. </p><p>That's all I can think of that have happened to me the last few nights. Is stuff like this still par for the course?</p>

they're not bugs, they're called "fey", and i've been trying to swat the hell outta em for a year now.. but they keep coming back <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Hmm...

Those bugs have been around for over a year sadly. The first one is relatively easy to remedy, cancel your dots/debuffs. I remember when, if you zoned after someone who fled dishonourably, when you came out the otherside you would attack them once. This still happens from time to time, but i remember attack a red on TS docks on my ranger, him fleeing when another person joined in, and me shooting 100+ arrows after I zoned because it would only stop when you landed one.

Hmm...</blockquote>Yeah.. last night it wouldn't let me smuggle or stealth. It was just blacked out like tracking is when you're in combat. Tried hitting it and it had the blinking yellow box around it, as if it were a combat art with its timer refreshing..

All of a sudden last night I do two phantom combat arts on a guy apparently zoning back in: Poke and Viscerate. Both at the same time, and kind of strange because one's a back only attack and the other is a side or frontal attack. One of the instances it happened about 10-15 minutes after I had attacked the guy, so any dot or debuff would have expired.

One thing i will say though, I can't remember having it happen to my coercer, only my Ranger and Brig.</p><p>I think atm we might just have to put up with it, the dev's havn't fixed it in months and months, doubt they will now <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
