Yes, I too have had this same error message come up after playing last night.

I have gone through the forums and see that this problem has gone on since 11/15/2007 from what I can tell with no official responce from SOE!

I have contacted support via email/chat/phone with no answer to speak of. No reply from my email, was disconnected from the chat support ~ she said she wanted to see my DXdiag file, I pasted it and was disconnected with the response saying, only typed input was allowed ~ no cut and paste. Ha, as if I am gonna type my Dxdiag!

I spoke with a tech at SOE who told me "this must be something new" because there was nothing in his database to support it. NEW? I have seen this on the boards for close to a month with NO reply from SOE. The tech walked me through the standard ~ delete this and that, now try it ~ no change. I forwarded him all the requested files. I uninstalled everything EQ2 and reinstalled. No change. I have done everything that everyone else has suggested with ~ NO CHANGE. How long do I wait for some kind of response before I just quit the game ~ or stop paying? [I cannot control my vocabulary] is going on SOE!!

thanks for letting me vent

Suzie

Windows VistaTM Business (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.070828-1515)Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTDSystem Model: MS-7125BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PGProcessor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3700+, ~2.2GHzMemory: 2046MB RAMpage File: 986MB used, 3330MB availablewindows Dir: C:WindowsDirectX Version: DirectX 10DX Setup Parameters: Not foundDxDiag Version: 6.00.6000.16386 32bit UnicodeNVIDIA GeForce 6800 GSDisplay Memory: 1016 MBDedicated Memory: 248 MBShared Memory: 767 MBDriver Version: 7.15.0011.6369 (English)DirectX Version: DirectX 10

PS if anyone is interested I have all the files pertaining to this incident.

Amazing ~ still not a word from tech support. No email, no reply, no work around.

Oh wait I'm only one of 30 or so players that have posted the problem. Guess its not big enough to notice yet.

Any chance you are using a custom UI? Have not seen this issue on any one of my crafters and I have one for every trade skill in the game, the tradeskill related UI's changed dramaticly recently

Also, check the stickied posts on what to post, lot of information on the system still missing

I did have a custom UI but after all this I removed/uninstalled/deleted everything. Reinstalled from the patcher that the SOE tech support emailed me and ~ no change.

thanks for the suggestion but I still cant play. And I went through every thread in the known problems in the tech support link up top and nothing has changed my situation.

thanks for trying

Suzie
