Not that it matters or that or that anyone at SOE really cares what we have to say on these forums but I thought I might add my 2 cents here.

I left WOW because it boring and there were just too many people that play and take that game a lil too serious.

I tried Vanguard for about 2 months or so but realized no matter what settings I used on that game I had to set it up and it looked more like Everquest 1 when I played that game. Basically u need the best of the best of CPU's to play Vanguard or have one built for u by NASA.

So I decided what the hell I played Everquest 1 for a number of years and I liked the toons and the class choices that game gave u and I did play Everquest 2 for about a year before moving to the other 2 games I mentioned above. Thinking that maybe its been a few years now since Everquest 2 launched that it might be a more stable game then when it first came out. It was pretty much better and to me was more stable for the most part but since this new expansion came out it seems to me that the game is starting to play as laggy and unstable as it was playing when I quit this game the first time around.

Now that is not a good way to keep customers around in my viewpoint but like I first stated SOE does not care and as long as they have a few happy subscribers that pay to play and that own these Super CPU's that are run by NASA engineers then SOE is happy.

Please I only ask 1 favor if anyone of importance is reading this;

FIX THE LAG ISSUES

FIX THE ZONING ISSUES

FIX MEMORY LEAKING ISSUES

WE all just want to relax and play a game in our spare time and constantly getting kicked out of the game or constant zone crashed and lag issues is just something people will start to get tired of and WE will leave again and im afraid WE wont be coming back again for a third time.

Thanks for your time

Seriously, SOE has no issues. They won't admit anything, so therefore they aren't going to do anything about it.

Zoning has sucked since before ROK, I challenge ANY admin or SOE customer support individual to Admit that a problem even exists.

Yeah, these problems have been getting a lot worse for me since RoK, too. For awhile there, it seemed to run all right on my current PC. Much better than my XP machine. But I'm starting to get a lot of the same issues as before, plus the OOM errors. Hopefully SOE will do something about it, but I hear a lot of "it must be your PC" stuff. The same sort of thing I heard when playing SWG. I eventually quit that game shortly before the space expansion. As much as I like this game, I don't think I'm going to play for much longer with the issues this game has.

You think there was some sort of memo that was sent out to all of the SOE staff that read: "Please remember, as long as they pay they will play...even if they can't actually play"I'm sure something like this must have been posted on all of the break room corkboards for all of the SOE employee's to read. Maybe it is their mantra they all chant before starting work for the day, and by starting work I mean not acknowledging that a problem exists and ignoring all of the paying customers that are quickly growing tired of the problems (Customers that I am sure have either A. stopped their current payment method or B. plan on stopping their current payment method).

Good thread.Oh as for the game running well on "super computers". It doesn't. sweet replies to my thread and I feel better knowing that I am not the only one that feels this way. O well guess we all just stick with it until the game just becomes so unstable and unplayable or we just loose our patience and quit for good. Its all we can do...complaining will get us nowhere SOE does not care...they did not care when they hosed up SWG and lost over half their subscribers with the Combat Upgrade and when they took out all the profs and added the Iconic Proff to the game. See there is nothing we can do but keep playing and move on if it sucks.

I too are having severe problems with my game. During peak time (4pm GMT) I am having lag spikes galore which last 3-4 mins and SOE's response is for me to turn off anti virus firewall etc. I have played this game for 3yrs now and I think it's the best mmorpg game that I have played (even better than SWG pre SOE mess up) I am on my last legs now with the constant lag so have issued another e-mail to SOE asking them to either sort it out or lose another gamer...Will give it until the end of the week for progress or guess it's time to invest in a stable game.....Guess I won't hold my breath and nice knowing u ;( Best wishes Thundermouse
