I subscribed specifically for the Richard Garriot interview. I didn't even realize that EQ2 was featured in it.

I would also add that in addition to the magazine featuring EQ2 they have voting for MOG of the year awards and EQ2 is featuring in several categories. I strongly encourage everyone to keep EQ2 in the minds of the general EQ2 by voting on the site and making sure EQ2 is always on the ballot and in the minds of the MMO community as a whole. You even have a chance to support you favorite MMO site by voting for them. So if you do not want to spend money on the magazing you can still support the EQ2 community by voting at http://www.beckett.com/beckettmog/ and voting for EQ2 and ROK.

It's not. Beckett's is the best MMO coverage in print (my opinion, based on reading every issue but 1 so far), and I'm excited that EQ2 is on the cover. I hope that more and more MMO gamers pick up on this and their print base grows, as well as their distribution.

Anyone get their subscription copy yet? Just checking, haven't recieved mine yet and looking forward to it. Did get the painting code though the day before Kunark went live . I love the painting though and wouldn't mind seeing more of these promotions.

Although I truly enjoy the portrait and had no trouble dropping the $16 I did for it, it was enough to inspire a mild Xeavn rant over at Clockwork Gamer. It's a nice little bonus for picking up the magazine, but unless something changes in the future, this is also the only way you'll ever pick up this item (no in-game quest, no random drop from Legends of Norrath boosters, and no carpenter created recipes).

Just as an FYI to all international people trying to get the mag. I am from the UK and I managed it *eventually*. It doesn't seem possible to get the sub from the front screen click image but going through the normal method of subbing you get the choice for international (its 24 dollars delivery for the UK).Also when trying to put in the address it keeps changing back to US/Canada (or the Canary Islands for some unknown reason!) but if you fiddle about enough you can get it to work.I got my email a few hours later (allowing for time difference) and have a lovely misty pic of Venril in my characters house now
