EQ2 for MAC

I just noticed that EQ is available for MAC now but I only play EQ2. Is there a possibiblity of EQ2 being available for MAC in the near future? I hope so. Any insight would be appreciated.

Any insight would be appreciated.</blockquote><p>Doubt it, eq for the MAC is no where near normal EQ, it plays on a seperate server that is 6 or 7 expansions behind.  The eq2 client/game is tied into directx for the graphics, dx is a MS product and I doubt they are interested in farming it out to Apple. </p><p>Your only choice is get a intel based mac and run bootcamp on it, if you do this make sure it does not have the built in Intel chipset for graphics.</p>

Wow.....that all makes sense. Thanks for the insight. Kind of sucks because I recently bought a MAC and it runs 10 times smoother than my PC. I think they should consider finding a way since more and more p[eople are converting to MAC like myself.

I play EQ2 on my iMac. If your mac is intel based you can do this with "Bootcamp" from apple: <a href="http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2006/apr/05bootcamp.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.apple.com/pr/library/200...05bootcamp.html</a> Very easy to understand and get running.
