Yeah, I'm a Necro with MC gear and roughly 20 AAs. I get owned by Battlemages. Any suggestions about what pet or tatics to employ to increase my chances of survival? Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but trying to quest while a battlemage is chasing zone to zone and greifing me gets annoying. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi there. I play a battlemage in T7 on Venekor, and I have to say that Manashield is the only thing we have to really delay a death or suspend someone's hope of winning. If you can catch the manashield icon (looks like the Hadden's Earring buff. It's blue with a white milky circle in the middle), I would suggest immediately fearing, mezzing, or using any long duration stuns you might have (sorry never played necro before, not sure what you have). Manashield lasts for 20 seconds. If you can break up a one v one fight for that long, it'll give you enough time to run while Manashield wears off, and then go back to the fight. With my swashy, if I ever see Manashield go up, I mez, stealth and back off. I just watch them run around trying to find me as their manashield drops off and then i re-engage. I'm really not sure what Necro's have for utility, but any sort of fear, stifle, root, mez, would do wonders for you to just get away from the guy for a while. Just be sure you do it when the buff's up Hope this helps :O

Try to beat manashield with a dispel magic spell.

Well if your t7 use tank pet or if you want more dps scout, the reasons being I believe mage pet will not proc the spells you give it The scout pet does little tiny bit more dammage then mage IF its spells proc however that is single target. The fighter pet fear's stuns and i believe mez's(the only reason i use it) and it has good hp so they cant 1 hit it. So basicly dont use mage or it will be like good dps for half a second until they hit it AA lines are(what ive gone) Lifeburn Tainted heals WIS STA AA lines best for pvp(what i believe) Lifeburn AGI STA(However it is not that helpful you can taunt them of you to your pet) And i forgot name of it but pobably the one to the far left, with the undead tide etc However since you said you have 20 AA's and MC i think your a lower tier(lvl up -.-) so just get the first 3 skills in the rotting(lifeburn) line
