I had a level 29 Barbarian Mystic which I deleted. I kind of wish I hadn't but, ah, well.. c'est la vie.Whatever race I am, it should be non-SOGA. I hate SOGA and the thought of playing something where people can see me in SOGA... No. :pI was thinking of waiting til ROK and the Sarnak, but that is 24 days away. :p Plus everyone and their grandpappy will be playing a Sarnak.Perhaps I should just go ahead and choose a current race so I can experience the ROK content a bit sooner (aside from the initial 1-20 zone)? Or wait for the Sarnak? And onto class... how do I know what class is for me? I know it isn't a tank, but I am torn between the DPS and Healing classes. Thanks!

If you are torn between dps and healers I would test them all out for a while then by the time you've tested them all you could make a sarnak of that class. Or if you don't have that much patience I would really recommend a fury. They are healers first and foremost but they can doll out some great damage. So you get a little bit of both worlds.

With a dps spec, you can do some decent dps with several of the healers.Do youw ant to do damage with nukes or with melee? For nukes, go fury. For a big, nasty, facepounding hammer damage, go inquisitor.

If you want to be a race that doesn't have an alternate appearance, these only have one:KerranIksarRatongaFaeArasaiFae and Arasai require EoF.

One word... Glide... the best racial ablity currently in game.

Dont forget +5% to run speed as well as a travel form that stacks with all other movement buffs. Fae is the fastest race out there.

Or the "I've got a pole through my shoulderblades" stance of the male SOGA models? The whole body is different in SOGA, not just the faces.

I'd definately recommend a Ratonga!

As for class, any of the priests that have melee spec AA paths would be a great choice.

Inquisitors are really good but lack non-combat utility like SOW and ports.

Mystics are awesome! They have uber fast SOW and you get a puppy to keep you company if you're stuck soloing.

Wardens are a heck of a lot of fun. Super fast SOW, portals and evac.

All 3 classes are very group friendly and adpet soloers. The best of both worlds!
