AAAT - Another AA Thread

Okay, so I'm preparing to get more into raiding now that I'm level 70 with 3/4 of my AA and decent gear.In case it matters, here's my noteworthy equipment.Necklace of Shadowy Strikes with  Scint. Judicious Clasp (+10 DPS)Ring of Relkententinar (22 STR, 24 STA, 30 AGI, +7 ranged)Two Bracelet of Many Colors (needs upgrading, just now noticed those o.O )Grizzfazzle's Bow w/ +12 poison Damage adornmentBloodspiller (28 STR and INT, +2 melee crit chance, and 12 piercing damage adornment)Darkened Gauntlets (+25 attack speed)Seneschal's Footwraps (22STR 18STA 15AGI w/ +1 Melee Crit Chance)Watchword Leggings w/ +14 str adornment and +1 Damage Spell Crit ChanceFaceless Shield (new drop from SoF -> 20 STR and AGI, 10 STA, +25 attack speed) (confirmed stack with the Darkened Gauntlets)Mantle of Recoil ( 22 STR, 20 AGI, +7 parry, and 14 str adornment)MC +10 atk speed cloak (though I'll be going for a differant cloak since the haste speed DOES NOT STACK with the gauntlets, but DOES stack w/ the shield)Cowl of the Pathfinderand I switch out my shield with Infirmity (with +12 slashing damage adornment) when I need to stay too close to allow ranged.Now, my AA's areAGI 4-4-7-8INT 4-8-4-8-1and for the ranger tree I will be maxing out the Poisoning Line 5-4-5-1 and then eithergoing down the far right of the multishot line with 5-5-5 and then dumping three points into Enhance: Selection and then going Multiarrow.  The rest will go into  Enhance: Stance: Dance of Tree (3 points to get to next ability) and the rest of my points will be spent in Enhance: Focus of Fire.So now, my question. . . How are my AA's setup? Is this a good combination?  What pieces of equipment should I go for next?  Are class peices really that good???Any help would be appreciated!

Respec immediately and get Poise.  If you want max dps this is usually the line most rangers go:Agi/Int both end abilities with max crits5 precise, 5 triple, 5 rain, 5 selection Double attack3 dances, 5 focus, 5 killing, 5 honed, Extension5 caustic.The rest of the poisoning line while it saves poisons does not help your DPS.Legendary class pieces are the most likely the best you can get if you dont raid barring a few items. IMHO, the boots 28 str/ int, the shoulders 28 str/agi are the best peices. USe three pieces if you can to get the ranged crit bonus until you find better fabled items. I also noticed you have a lot of melee crit chance gear. In raids, you will never melee auto-attack and you will use your melee CAs sparringly. Get the Mark for the ranged crit and dump the necklace. Add a +10 DPS adorn to your bow unless you get RC which cant be adorned. Grizzle is a horrible bow so go for RC or TLB (from Unrest). The TLB can be adorned so it wins in my opinion for raiding although RC is best for grouping and soloing.Get MC Agility ring and wear it during raids. Someone else can give you advice on bracelets. I am wearing the bracelet from Claymore quest +30 all stats and Amulet of the Foresworn (DT Access reward).Depending on where you raid,, if in KoS:DT for bowsHoS = ASWBLyceaum = legendary bow and GDoH, Fearling Tot Bulb Bone (helm 24 str/29 int  +4 ranged)Labs = relic pieces and nemesis which is better than relic except relic chest which is great. -13 seconds on triple arrow <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />If in EoF:FTH - Buckler of the howler, Shadow Strider Boots, fabled class gloves and bracersMMiS - tons of loot. Alot of class gearEH - Bows from Sarik, class gear as well.Hope that helps a little.

<p>I actually went a bit different in my preditor AA;s for Agi 4-8-4-8-1 Int 4-6-4-8-1 but Poise (end agi ability) is defiantly a must have - this reduces your casting time and allows you to get more attacks in.  For Ranger tree I did go as suggested in the double arrow line first without Stream.  Second line was the poisoning, I switched from extension after the consumption change and have not noticed a difference in my dps - I do switch between STR, INT and Tactics potions depending on my raid group setup.  I also found that I could put 3 points into snaring and 3 into leg shot and still get 5 into focus and a couple in killing instincts - and the added snare and quicker refresh on leg shot actually helped out my solo abilities greatly.  </p><p>I like the Marr Diety cloak for its +str and dps procs and I would suggest.  The MC ring of agility is a good pickup for the added haste.  Unless you've got plat to burn I wouldn't suggest putting the +10 dps gear on a bow you plan to upgrade - the vampiric gear is legendary and pretty decent.  Do the Tunar orb quest (think it starts with a guy in GF next to the entrance to SF) for the earring that will give you +8 dps its long but worth it.  MoA for the added ranged crit. </p><p>It looks like you have actively sought stuff with +%melee crit on it, while it's not a bad addition, the + melee crit should not be the stuff you actively seek over items with better stats and no bonuses. I do like the DT access quest reward for the bracelet as well (nice haste and stats) - and the one you get for the ghostly essence collection in LP has some nice STR and other stats as well - both typically adorned with +STR.</p>
