Can we make an evil inquisitor and have him come to where the good fae's group and do quests there somehow? inquisitors are better dps than templars right? or should we just go with a fury? we gonna have a berserker tank i think.

Assuming you're on a PvE server, yes, any class can group with any other class. Don't expect to go running through all of your city quests with your 'good' friends though - it's a bit of work getting them into the city at such a low level, and can be a bit dangerous. As for DPS, it's my understanding that Templars are pretty much bottom of the food chain in regards to DPS. I've seen Inquisitors do some very nice damage (I have a lowbie one, with few AA points, so can't really say from experience), so really pick what will make you happy. Keep in mind that Druids (Fury/Warden) do have port spells, which is a nice piece of utility when traveling the world of Norrath.Good luck and safe travels!

You could go with a Fury. Their HoT spells are really good, and they can do some nice damage once they get Strike of Thunder at 23 (Adept 1 does more damage than your Mastery Smite, although without the debuffs). Plus, you get ports at 25, and I feel that a Fury just fits in with the Faydark surroundings.

I dont think that the DPS difference between Temp/Inq could make much of a difference in a group. Nor their healing either since both should be ok both dps and heal for a group. But at early levels most of the quest starters are from the cities or the fractions camps. That will make it hard for you to share quests and make it a bit ineffective to group if you play good and evil classes in same grp. Clerics and plate tanks go really well together but nothing wrong with the other classes either. So it all lands on what you want to play tbh. If you want a healer pick any healer class you want. If you want dps pick something else. /Hugs Tash

I cannot imagine any reason other than personal preference to go inquisitor instead of templar. Especially if grouping is your concern. Of ocurse if freeport appeals, or you like the specific class then do it, but I would find it odd to do it for functional reasons.

As a P.S. There is little more annoying to many groups than DPS focussed healers anyway.

I've not looked at the Templar tree but the Inquisitor tree have very few AA related to healing. Most of Inquis are DPS based. Inquis can do some nice DPS but it requires AA dedication and levels. I have a 60 Inquis and I can heal with the best of them. Our heals are a bit slow and we are reactive based so ignore those that freak out when you use reactives instead of set amount heals. Don't even consider trying to melee while healing unless your group is totally owning. Sure you can kick on Auto Attack but actually meleeing sucks your power fast. The Inquest spell is sweet but it can't keep up with power usage and we have zip for power regen. Despite many claims of it will be easy to get groups you will find yourself LFG alot and being able to melee helps during those times. When I created my Inquis there were few clerics ever on now there is a glutton of clerics but the sad thing is most suck and give wrong impressions of class.Grouping with pals can be done with them being good and you evil but what you may want to consider is start good all group together and be from same city and then once your around 20 and not needing the newbie areas betray to Inquis if you still want to. 1-20 the classes aren't that different its the 30+ that the big differences start to show up. Either way the key is to have fun.
