I decided to resubscribe to eq2 a few minutes ago. I´ve been busy with WOW for a good year, but they screwed up audio for good with their last patch and that´s  a "no go" for me. I have always enjoyed EQ2 and want to enjoy it again.I have 2 characters sitting at 60 in adventure and crafting. The only expansion I have access to is Desert of Flames. And as I wasn´t one of the lucky folks that got a winback invitation with EoF included, is there anything worthwhile, as a paying customer, that I should do until Rise of Kunark is out, except start a new character?

A new character is certainly an option.  Maybe court raids for fabled gear if you haven't already - that will give you the edge to work towards 70.  May as well do the peacock quests if you haven't done those - reward is nice, especially if you are blocked at 60 for now.

There is nothing to do on your 60s toons without KoS or EoF and I would not bother buying those expansions since they will be included in the new release all-in-one package with RoK on Nov 13th. In the meantime I would say join a PvP server. Most of the action is in first 25 levels anyway so just remember to /disable your xp at level 10. There is also special loot that is not available on the PvE servers.

farm plat till your fingers bleed... 71-80 masters will be expensive as hell at the start due to some people having far too much plat. or, as said above, make an alt, try out pvp, whatever keeps you busy for those few weeks<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Or farm harvests from  t2-t3 zones like crazy and make sure you have all tradeskiller classes covered for this range. When RoK comes out there will be thousands of new lowbie sarnaks running around with some very wealthy mains, all looking for that mastercrafted gear and adept3/master spells.
