Why oh why did you put in /MORE/ mittens?!?!?!?!

<p>Title says it all... why did the tradeskill devs feel the need to make all crafted chain/plate gloves the worst armor graphic I have EVER seen in any game? I have said it many times, and everyone (minus the history nerds) have agreed with me that this fingerless metal mittens should be completely removed from the game.</p><p>The are ugyl and ruin even the best of outfits, and it now seems that you will be hard pressed to find anything other than mittens to cover them up with... So please soe, return all crafted items marked as chain or vanguard back to finger gloves so that if all else fails, we can have a cheap way to cover up our fugly mittens.</p><p>If you wish to petition this bad bad BAD decision, please copy & paste the following at the bottom of your post, plus your main's name. </p><p>I Faynar Strikewind hereby protest the use of metal mittens in this game.</p>

<p>Always /boggled me that mittens were such an issue but the universally used condom hat isnt. I suppose you can turn that off at least but its still the model used for probably 95% of all cloth and chain armour.</p><p>Its the single most ridiculous looking piece of silliness in the game. At least they could have made it a coif or sallet or something but a condom hat...ack.!</p>

<p>I've always had trouble with the gloves in this game in general. The mittens are bad, but a lot of the chain gloves with the huge flared wrists (at least on a lot of soga models) aren't fantastic either.</p><p>I guess the hat thing doesn't come up because you can hide it. A lot of people hide their hats anyways, since they went to the trouble to customize their character's face. But yeah, I don't remember the last time I saw someone wearing one of the normal chain hats (the ones that don't hide the face I mean).</p><p>I could also do without so many chainmail skirts. I mean I see the point, since a lot of chain armor was like that, but it's more of a warrior style kind of thing, and it takes away the feel of a stealth class if you get stuck with this big sheet of chainlink metal hanging over your groin.</p>
