Bristlebane?

Is Bristlebane a good deity to choose?  Haven't really seen much said about it.

His miracles/blessings seem to fit melee classess well.  I'd still get the Rallos/Marr cloak, then go with Bristle for the miracles/blessings, but that's just me.

Nah... Who cares that cloak on 70 lvl? The cow pet - thats new game aim for me :D

Prior to Bristlebane, I had Marr's cloak for the proc, and Tunare's altar for the one useful blessing.  I wish I could have kept Marr's pet for the extra STR.  Now I've gone to Bristlebane because there are 3 or 4 (I'd have to check) blessings and miracles that I can use regularly.  The pet (besides being a lot of fun) gives 28 AGI, which is nice (if it can't be STR or INT).  Bristlebane's cloak provides one of two buffs on activation, both of which are useful, but not enough for me to give up Marr's cloak.  Also, Bristlebane's cloak must be worn for its affect, so you can't just carry around as a click item.
