Most likely, you are soloing yellow and white solo mobs - no arrows or ^.Basically,, the time and effort it takes to solo a yellow ^^^ is not worth it unless it is a named or for a quest. If you are exp'ing you can mow through solo mobs with ease and without much risk. Also, what level are you? Heroics are easy b4 level 20. Wait until you get to 60 and 70s and a white or yellow ^^^ will one shot you. A blue ^^^ will two or three shot.

I hunt green heroics for three different reasons: A. quests, B. loot, and C. challenge. There are many heroic quests that can be soloed if you can kill a heroic named monster before it goes grey. Heroic monsters, particularly named ones, generally drop better loot. And non-heroic monsters generally bore me. I am in no hurry to level, so I really don't care much about whether or not it's efficient to kill heroics. For that matter, I often turn off combat xp just so I won't outlevel quests I want to complete and named creatures I want to kill.

Thanks Vatec, I thought it might be that you were after loot/quest items.

Ranja, I thought it was clear when I did not include any ^'s that the white and yellow cons I hunt are normal mobs. Sorry for the confusion. I am trying to maximize my hunting to make sure I am gaining the most EXP I can. In EQ1 that often meant killing a lot of blues because you can kill them alot faster solo than white/yellow cons. In the case if EQ2 I am finding that killing white/yellow cons is the better path because we rangers can drop mobs fast.

I was asking about the Green^^^ because I thought there might be EXP bonuses for ^ mobs that made a Green^^^ worth alot more EXP than the white/yellow cons I am killing now.
