My SK solo's a lot, and duos as much as I solo. I will be grouping when able maybe a pick up raid here and there.

Sk's AA's are as follows:

INT-448, STA-448 and AGI-448, last few points will probably be put into str or int

I'm looking for feedback on this set up and possibly suggestions on what to change. I havnt touched my second page of AA's so not sure what to do there.

Honestly I tried out that set up, a change from my 48881 str 448int, and was actually doing less dps. So I went back to it. Most of our dps is in our spells, so the end ability in the STR line is very good. It also helps with our reaving because we can cast more spells during a fight.

Adding taps to coil is a nice little boost to pact healing, I almost never use my normal lifetap spell. And the tap on touch is a very nice thing, if you're needing to touch something, you probably could use a heal, mine's at around 700 at level 37 (Master2). I have reaver, but honestly I don't use it much because I don't cast much when soloing, just coil and dumbfire and a pact if I start hurting a bit.

And for soloing, you definitely want to grab the feign timer reduction

I went backward from general principles and did the EoF tree first (I wasn't reading forums then) and it's worked out pretty good. Now I'm filling out Int, at 4-4-5 so far. I'm leaning toward Str next, but Sta might be nice for a bit of survivability, cross that bridge when I get there. 41 AAs at 37, I started late, only had like 12 at 31...

Currently Im trying to figure out wether better with last 8 pts to max int and its nuke or 4 into stam and 4 into the ae knockdown. Any oppinions?

To OP.. on 2nd page all I can say is gogo power reaver! Even though they nuetered it recently it still quite handy.

I have been 4-5-8 Int, 4-4-8 Sta, and 4-4-8 Wisdom since almost day one and have loved it. I've tried just about every other variation of KOS AA but I always come back to this base.

I am doing 5/4/8 int, 4/4/8 sta, 4/4/8 agi. Personally I like it. I mostly solo.

I started as str/agi/int 448 than respeced to str 44682 int 448 and than back to str448 agi448 sta4481

with full str I was doing a little more dps in raids (mostly single target long fights, trample is a little crippled due to the way large mobs position when you are not a MT) for solo and groups str/agi/int was way better dps and more useful for tanking

of course it depends on style... I hardly ever pull a single mob.. or group... usually 3-4 groups if I know the healer and have some ae-oriented DPS classes in group, for solo, being able to do a lot more damage versus multiple mobs without spending much power works really nicely in a long fights, or the fact that you can just target a name and no-arrow adds will die anyway from your ae swings is priceless

sta line crits works on trample swings so agi+sta is good combination and int is something you don't want to miss...

from EoF tree I would recomend points in DM, grim coil, lifetap proc, blessing and Drain Vitae, mix and match to get reaver, and go for hate transfer if you like groups too (strongly recomended, most high-end is about grouping)

I have recently just come back to EQ2 after almost a year, and I started my 70 SK from Launch of EQ2. I was sitting here trying to research what my AA setup should be for the new EoF tree since SOE was so kind enough to reset them on me, and I stumbled across this post. I see alot of SK's going into the STR line for the haste, but unless something has changed Haste for an SK is not a good thing as the majority of our skills are spell based, therefore we interrupt the auto melee all the time. However it does have its uses if your playing the mana saving game vs a mob, but if your looking to increase overall DPS it shouldn't affect the stats that much. The spell crit line and Melee crit line, I would say are a must before the STR tree. Just some food for thought for the younger SK's
