<p>ok before i start saying bad word and get upset why are u nerfing the best aa a ranger can has todate if anything the double attack percent should go up not down. This<b> IS not acceptable</b> especally with the supsoley broken claymore getting fixed(nerfed imho)</p><p>Ranger</p><ul><li>Enhance: Hawk Dive: Also improves reuse speed by 6 seconds per rank. </li><li>Befriend Animal: Increased effectiveness of charmed animal. </li><li>Enhance: Lunge: Increased duration bonus from 0.4 to 0.5 seconds per rank. </li><li>Hook Arrow: Improved reuse speed from 2 minutes to 90 seconds. </li><li>Enhance: Thorny Trap: Increased reuse speed bonus from 6 to 8 seconds per rank. Also improves casting speed by 0.4 seconds per rank. </li><li>Enhance: Survival Instincts: Also increases bonuses by additional 4% per rank. </li><li>Enhance: Fettering Poison: also increases snare amount by 3%. </li><li>Enhance: Ancillary Poison: Increased skill reduction bonus from 4% to 7% per rank, resist bonus from 3% to 5% per rank. </li><li>Conservation: Duration of potions are doubled. All potions consumed are 20% more effective than before. </li><li><b><i><u>Double Arrow: Reduced ranged doubleattack bonus from 10% to 8%</u></i></b>.</li></ul><p>and are you serious gonna try this one again it didnt work the first time whats make u think itll work this time???</p><p>Ranger - Reconnoiter: Reduced percentage</p><p>oh and if your gonna try make the poison line as a whole y not in crease hemo(assigian) and caustic(ranger) lines as well let say 2-5 percent a rank</p><p>Morzerk </p>

Can't wait to tune in to see whats next.</p><p>Whats the {fudgin} point about dropping Double Attack? More importantly - what about our Reconniter (sp?)! </p><p>OK...2% on Double Attack is the lesser of 2 evils - can a dev or an employee of SoE give a concrete and logical explanation? I severly doubt it.</p><p>Who does the hate debuff reduction help??? Quick answer - no one. If this is aimed at high-end rangers - allowing them to get aggro from a tank will do nothing but increase the chances of a wipe. It HELPS NO ONE. Why in the world is this back in? Give me a good reason to believe you SOE.</p><p>/emote thinks its time to shelve himself. <img src="/smilies/e78feac27fa924c4d0ad6cf5819f3554.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>My main is a ranger - I have 2 alts that do nothing but tradeskill - to keep up with poison/arrow costs. I love being a ranger - only reason why I bought this game. If these nerfs really impact the ranger raiding community (which I'm a part of) - I'll be 14.99 richer a month.</p>

<p>I think there giving us better itemization with this nerf, like items with double range attack </p><p>or maybe they arent </p><p>I'm not sure what dev really hates rangers but they sure do hate us with a passion, to have this much pull to keep nerfing us since release</p><p>example of think tank for update notes </p><p>dev that hates rangers : "Hey guys I just though maybe we should lower double attack for rangers this update since there's nothing in it yet for them, and give them something overpowering like umm hawk dive increase timer to balance things out you know"</p><p>dev team : "Hey that's a pretty good idea we'll get right on it" </p>

As an assassin, I fully support the fix to melee weapons procing on ranged attacks. However all these changes to rangers in particular are complete BS. Don't let them go live, the class is fine where it is.

It's not the devs that hate rangers. Its the other classes. Somewhere out there a wiz in treasured gear was running act when he ran unrest with a end line ranger and crapped his pants when the ranger hit 3k dps. That is why we are getting nerfed... because other players have dps envy.

I have no clue what the second line class AA abilities are for Rangers but could the fact that they no longer share reuse timers be the reason to lower double attack% since you will be getting a little dps from the second AA line CAs not sharing reuse timers?

nope it's gotta be dev that has dps envy, cause it's there game and how they choose to do it, in all honesty people are going to complain no matter what, cause that's what they do complain for no real reason except to complain, and since they are nerfing us every gu update it's a really big dev grudge on rangers

Thats all I want to know. Can't be the PvPers complaining about our de-aggro, can it? What does hate gain do for PvP? </p>

<p>Yeah, the hate nerf didnt bug me as much (oh it still bugs me but I will adjust) as the double attack one. I swear if I was a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy nut I would have stopped the ranger a long time ago. Been a ranger since day one. The week I started a brigand alt they nerfed Amazing Reflexes. Started a conjuror alt for some of their hits..</p><p>Its almost like someone really hates rangers! /conspiracy on</p><p>Hmmm. I need to set up a paypal account to see which class is more adraid of the nerf bat. You dont pay me, I start an alt!</p>

<p>Just go ahead and get rid of the Ranger class all together if your going to keep swinging the nerfbat like this without listening to our suggestions for ranger fixes. A nerf to our best AA along with what you are doing with the proc changes is UNACCEPTABLE! The other AA changes really dont mean squat to a ranger because any ranger worth his/her salt in a raid or group goes for dps AA's. Don't let this nerf go live along with your proposed agro reduction nerf. SOE you are going too far nerfing rangers. We as an entire class are getting tired of it. </p>
