How does the new armor Preview work?

I heard there was a new armor dressing room added to the game so you can preview what armor looks like befor you buy it. I know players have been asking for this since forever but how does it work now that it is live?

I told them Dressing Room was a bad name. They should call it the Preview Room. You can look at just about anything with it. This morning I looked at the new carpenter furniture recipes. Didn't even have to make the items. Just highlight the recipe and click control to get a popup with the item in it.

It also works on linked items.  Our guild spent about 30 minutes sending each other armor links in guild chat and playing dress up.  It was quite hilarious! <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Also works from the quest journal and from the icon in the examine window of any item.  (It doesn't work directly from guild event links, but you can click the links and then click the icons in examine to get a view.)
