Mentoring - dont see quest icons above NPCS?

Just a quicky question! I have been mentoring alot to get some AA but I notice that you dont see the "I have a quest for you" icon above NPCs when mentoring although you DO see the "come get your reward" icon...  just wondered why really!

<p>Quest givers take your actual level when considering whether to show you if they have a quest or not (or even whether to let you have it - some repeatable quests or writs have level caps) not your mentored level.</p><p>If you do a level 20 quest when youre 70 (and not mentoring) you still get the 'I've got a reward for you' icon, ie. you always get the 'Ive got a reward for you icon' no matter what your level is.</p>

You have my vote on this! I mentor a lot so it does become an issue at times...but then sharing quests is wonderful.

I agree - it would be nice to see featherheads when mentoring. (Do bear in mind, though, that even if the feather's not there, you can still get the quest...at least that's been my experience.)

I would even like to see the quests when i'm not mentored. Sometimes there are quest series or whatever that I want to do even though I'm 70. I would like to see them add in an icon above the NPC's head that lets you know they have a quest no matter what level. Maybe it could be the current icon for quests within 10 levels and a different icon for any quest outside the lev requirements. Could also do different color rings on the map for quest givers as well.

ah thanks for the info - yeah it would be nice to see the feather regardless of level I think. Good point about the quest sharing thing - i totally forgot about that feature!!!

Could also do different color rings on the map for quest givers as well.</blockquote><p> Yep, would be very nice to see a grey feather over NPCs that have quests you've outleveled, a standard feather over the ones that have quests you should do currently, and a red feather to indicate that you should come back and talk to the NPC later.  Then again, I guess some folks would argue that the feathers should be done away with so that we have to go chatting up stranger after stranger in order to discover our quests. </p><p>As for me, I want the game to remind me of everything possible.  (Heck, it already reminds me that it's time to go to work with those updates on weekday mornings!)</p>

I for one dont really get why the feathers are removed at some specific lvl. why not on for all at all lvls.
