I vote Brigand, Brigand, Brigand, Brigand, Brigand, Brigand. Or our slightly less hetero Qeynosian counter parts.

IF i go out in a pvp group im normally with a zerker, warden, any other healer, swashbuckler, swashbuckler or any scout, and a paladin or another dps. normally two tanks two healers two scouts at t7 and we hardly die..

Being serious now: Brigand / Swashie (both if your in exile for sure.) Shadowknight (I still maintain that the sk or zerker are best pvp tanks), Warden, Dirge, Warlock, and Templar. Some would disagree with the choice of Templar, but my best experiences in tier 7 were with an amazing templar fom Vox from the guild Kindred. She was awesome...Gaglak as posted in another thread SHOULD be feared, he's also a beast Oh also, people who think casters suck in pvp should really go group with Shook (I have seen him tank Famine (brigand)) or Gromann.

Aeryox: You rock man, I saw you jump a group of 6, and we thought for a second that you were going to win, I'm pretty sure you managed to take at least one down before your demise, very impressive.

That's easy. Whatever classes are available so that your group is either:

A. Outnumbering the enemy at least 2 to 1 (but preferrably north of 3 to 1...), or

B. The level range of the grp is the max allowed for pvp (i.e. a group of lvl 22s beating on a couple 18s...)

/sarcasm off

pre-pvp changes: guardian, defiler, warden, warlock, swashbuckler, illusionist post-pvp changes: guardian, defiler, warden, warlock, warlock, illusionist those are the most balanced groups i can think of. of course full, stacked groups of 6 zerkers, 6 bruisers, 6 (any healer class), 6 warlocks, can definitely kill any average group.

4 brigs and 2 furies. Or if you wanted unmatched survivability with max dmg 3 brigs 2 furies, and a warden. I dont think anything could kill that healing power with the constant stuns and nukes flying.

tank increases survivability by a lot, obviously, by keeping the other group off the key group members. defiler/warden combo can heal through just about anything imo. warlock because they are a tide-turning class in group pvp; apoc is overpowered. hitting the opposite group for 3k on 6 targets is overpowered. swash because of temps; throw them up and burn the other group's key class (e.g. warden, whatever) if they have one. illusionist because they DPS like crazy (solar shower anyone?); group stuns, group stifles, mezes, spell reflects. 3 brigs is very powerful, yes, but like i said, the groups i noted were the most balanced i could find. imo 6 crickets (pvp spec warden) beat 6 famines (pvp spec brig) any day of the week. Just my opinion, no need to get riled up. Overwhelm

yeh but each brigand gets a taunt and one evade and each can kil lsomeone in 5-12seconds. Once the fight starts each taunts and lock someoen for 3 seconds, warden does a group heal, fury kicks theirs in, the defilers gets a ward in 3 out of the 6 enemy members die before the defiler wards even run out ....then o na 3 on 6 good luck taking any of them down with 3 brigands and 3 healers.

Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Inquisitor. If I had a 24 man raid of all Inquisitors I would be oh-so-happy. You cannot kill that which loses no life. =D

My favorite is: Guardian, Warden, Warlock, SK, Troub, Defiler Makes for nice long fights with lots of chances to laugh and joke around while you watch them try to damage you =) For a trio that kills most full groups: Guardian, Warden, Brigand I leave my necro in town for pvp usually =)

Smack, healer dead from a single target nuke. Group starts to realize this aint a run of the mill clothie, and is slowing down their charge. Wham, second encounter nuke hits. So we are 100% sure we don't lose a single group member.

Honestly if we talk about pre pvp changes. (liek live servers now) a lot of combinations sound cool and effective together on paper, but in reality you don't need anythign else but a strong defence of different type of healers and 3 brigands to just kill. What im saying is, a brigand with their own debuffs can kill someone in 5-10 seconds, why even bother with slow cast class, why bother with resists debuffs ? why bother with anything else if brigands can kill in that short of a time with melee damage, without any help from other classes ? specially since brigands have taunts too ....so just give them a good defence line and run them wild.

Though after pvp changes ..i don''t yet have to wait and see.

Ikuri with Shadowknight/Inquis lots of damage is poured out with out having to hit anyone lol. SK will do 200ish damage up to 5 times (blessing) when hit. Inquis can cast damage reactives; repentance 400-500+stun 3 times every CA, and vengence which does 250 each melee hit for up to 8 times with AA. Plus heresy which does quite a bit of damage and stuns anyone that casts a beneficial spell for up to 3 triggers. Then you have the dirge DKTM which I believe procs damage when getting hit. If the SK pops DM casts all his AoEs (dispel one, then despoil first)and everyone starts nuking soon as it is up end of story.

200x5 = 1000

400x3 = 1200

250x8 = 2000

Total = 4200 just because they hit you lol.

Plus if the inquis gets AA they can mezz one of the healers for 18s and then fear or stifle the other one.

All the while you are taking no damage because of wards.

4 simple steps to making a good pvp group (my choices are only Q classes because its what I can fight with): 1.) Start with tank/scout/healer - Zerker/Swash/Warden 2.) Add complimentary healer to healer chosen in step 1 - mystic or templar 3.) Add another DPS class - swash/warlock/wizard/ranger 4.) Add a class for utility - troub/dirge/illusionist At this point, you can be a mediocre player, but the complimentary nature of the group will cause you to win more fights than you lose.
