The warden class is my old main which I know inside and out, including being a champion at lvl 25, dreadnaught at 29 and general in my early 60's. If you lose to a swashy or assassin at that lvl, your doing something wrong. I know both of those classes very well, at not until lvl 70 do they have the str to bring down a very well equipped warden.

Well my warden experience is pre-EoF, but from 30-46 (when I stopped playing my warden) I only lost like 2 1v1 to a conjurer and illusionist. And those deaths were my first time fighting either class. Orange con scouts were pretty easy. If you do not think that wardens are overpowered then you probably have not played a class which is not overpowered. You are certainly right that gear, spells and skill play a large factor, but claiming that a class is not overpowered because there are other factors is not a logical argument. You just don't want to accept that you are playing an easy class because people wont respect your pvp record. If you really care about people dissing you for playing an easy class and sucking at it, then go roll a guardian. Then no one will notice if you suck, and you'll have all the street cred you want.

Wardens arent overpowered. You cant be serious. The only classes that beat my warden we higher con brigs (that knew how to play), other better equpted wardens, and a pain in the [Removed for Content] necro which i wil keep nameless. I solo pvp on my 30 warden (who wasnt all masters, just a3's and pvp gear) in places like lavastorm and everfrost killed reds without breaking a sweat. could beat wizards up to 59 =/. Wardens are very good (if played right of course).

The reason for all the druids crawling all over the place isnt as much that the class is overpwoered, but rather that it lets you do mistakes and still win. And the fact that because everyone thinks the druids are overpowered,t hey tend to not even try to kill them properly. They just throw their hands up int he air and scream OP rather than try and figure out ways to beat them. Not everything is killed the same way as a clothie, so them there scouts better get hopping and learn how to deal with druids. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I dont even screw with wardens. Even when I was a fury you could nuke and dot and heal all the time but the thing just would not die simply because if geared and speced right there isnt anything that can take 1 down. AA's for a 50% mig increase to that master 1 warden of the forest. Deck on all of those master 1 defensive buffs, get urself some fabled like everyone is doing now and get some aa's for fast melee casting attacks and they just overpower you and snare you down do no way ur getting away. I played both a warden and fury. As a warden all I had to do was do the circles to make it harder for scouts to get behind and spam my aoe's and single dots if needed. Grp never died and I could more than take the hits if the enemy tried to get at me.

I have come to learn there are no overpowered classes just over powered players. Given some classes are a lot harder to play than others. It does not take much skill to play a scout or a fury but that does not mean the other classes cannot be contenders if player right. I did not think it was possible for a dirge to beat a twinked warden but low and behold I got rolled by one just two levels higher than me. Is what matters in EQ2 most is: gear > skill > class.

As an SK, I myself can kill a druid, it requires an extreme amount of effort and micro-managing, all for him to just press chloroplast again, so I have to restart my whole tactics. "All that matters is gear spells and skill", What a load of [Removed for Content]. FACT - A fully fabled level 20 guardian is going to have a bloody hard time killing a treasured wearing APP IV using 20 warden. Just because you can't accept that you play an overpowered class you have to call everyone else stupid? Jesus take a step back and look at yourself. You are the exact kind of player I really cannot play with in a group. I'm an SK and even I realise that I'm overpowered for some situations. I can tear up a swashy without even thinking about it. Rangers weep when they see me. Your a druid. Realise it. It doesn't matter if you play an overpowered class, so what. Its when you think everyone else has the problem which makes you dumber. While you don't have a large amount of DPS, you have huge heals at this point -- whether you're in there melee'ing or kiting and nuking depends on whether or not your opponent can outdamage your regens up close or from a distance.

Lots of skill, luck and pumice stones I suppose lol. Of course there are ways, but why should one class have obvious advantages over ever other class? Meaning class A needs to buy better gear/spells and clickies than said overpowered class. And 2 wardens going at it, comes down to OOP which it should be for the 2 twinkies lol.

People just went overboard complaining again. Healers always were a tough kill, it comes tih the whole healing bit. And now that 4 out of 6 healers gets to do some decent damage, well, there has been a major outcry. Seems some people cant be bothered to learn how to fight healers.
