the empty arena /duel sorry there was a vote on the forums a very long time ago and everyone voted for pvp servers over RVR type stuff. You should probabbly make a pve character to relax on in the times you are too angry to pvp. That is what I do.

Sadly, only arena and /dual invite. I think they should add some PVE and PVP zones though.

A duel with a stealthed scout is deadly, those who need range are gimped in /duel, the arena had power- and health-pickups and well.. as said: totally different then pvp here. Less fun too i.m.o.

But, agreed, it is a facet of 'pvp'.

You should note, that the arena and /duel both use PvE rules so the actual experience of both is very different to that on a PvP server.

I actually think dueling is MORE balanced in regards to scouts, because it robs them of a surprise attack, which is the only reason people call them overpowered, whether they realize it or not.

Remove the factor of scouts getting the jump and it's a completely different ballgame though, yes

And their nutty high damage skills do the full pvp damage. So decapitate and the rest are pretty nasty.

Not to mention no immunities.

Stealth breaks when the duel is engaged.

And no immunities makes duels lean toward classes with many stuns - most of all bruisers imo.

Depends on which one you open with, tbh, and it's easily canceled with AEs

But you save the instant cast for when the duel begins. And yah, aes are the only way to combat stealth/invis without the skill to see it.
