View Full Version : Aren't you supposed to be safe when you're Immune ?~

I've seen alot of people charming a mob and placing it right on someone while they are afk. The mob attacks and breaks the guys immunity. It's a pretty lame way to get fame (Yes, more lame than sitting on cliffs). SoE should fix this ... I know a Freeport guild on Nagafen who does it alot .. *cough* sdrolrevO *cough*

While being immune, you should be able to be safe. That's a fact man. This isn't a whine thread, cause it's never happened to me, but it's happened to alot of people I know... And it is [Removed for Content].

If this rule doesn't work properly, the rule is broken and needs to be fixed.

Yeah, this is a pretty lame thing to do, which is why I never did it on my chanter when I had a charm. It's shady, in my opinion. On the other hand, permanent immunity in the wild is the biggest BS SOE has ever come up with....

I'm glad someone agrees with me .. Hmm Yea Hopping, you're right. You shouldn't be able to evac in let's say barren sky, and just wait for evac to come back up again. I do it ... Cause I can. If SoE fixed it, I wouldn't.

Yeah it's pretty lame. Perma immunity after death or evac is even lamer though. Do a trip of KoS and you see people all over the place, all immune just standing around. Carebear bs that needs to be removed FAST.

People like to kill others or run "gasps" or evac and stand at the respawn laughing and taunting. So many people kill them selfs and do the same thing, just to be safe. If you want to be safe on a pvp server then go stand in the city or camp to character select till your ready to play.

This is gonna turn in to a whine post when it does not need to, I give two perfect solution yet people will still complain.

Here's some more options:

1) Camp to character select (already mentioned)

2) Recall to your city

3) Find a REALLY obscure place to hide, invis/stealth and hope for the best

But it seemed to me the situation originally mentioned was one where someone revived after dying, went afk, and came back to find themselves dead again. In that situation, just stay dead. If someone just evacced -- well, I have a very hard time feeling sorry for a Scout, so HAHAHAHA on them!

What they really need to do is fix players being attackable after evacing or reviving. Last week I had it happen twice that I revived and was attackable as soon as I revived (died twice more before a scout evaced me on my third revive). I've also seen groups evac from my group, and when we head to their evac point there are one or more of them attackable for whatever reason. Never seen it happen besides the WW revive/evac point, but it should be fixed.

Put it back to the way it was before. PUT people in a 30 .. shoot even a 60 second timer after they revive. Permanent immunity is the most terrible thing they ever implemented in this game. drop the nozone on top of it, and you have a whole new level of stupid.

Has anyone noticed the zergfestival lately?

Yep, i think it should be fixed. When charm breaks the mob should run to original location instead of running back to where charm broke. Breaking immunity isn't the only its purpose its used for it either. I remember about 6 months ago I rolled a coercer on the newbie island and would charm mobs to kill all the noobs over there Who says theres no PvP on starter islands =D
