I note that there are three adventure paks. I bought EQII in the boxed set which covers all the expansions. Does this also include the adventure paks? If it doesn't then is it worth DLing them? Do they cost? Inquiring minds, ya know. <img src="/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

There are 3 adventure packs.  They are not included with any expansion, but they are free if you use the Sony access pass and pretty cheap if you don't.  I think about $6 each. They are not needed in any way to really enjoy EQ2, but they do add some fun content. -Splitpaw is a level 20 to 50 pack.  It scales up as you do so you can enjoy it as you level.  There are some cool quests out of there and it's a lot of fun. -Bloodlines:  The Vampire pack.  Level 35 to 50.  Set levels, it doesn't scale like splitpaw.  It contains a series of about a dozen quests that have some nice rewards. -Fallen Dynasty:  levels 50 to 70.  Nice stuff to get from here.  Lots of solo, group and even a few epic encounters. If you are interested in them there is no reason to not give them a try.  If not, you won't be at any sort of disadvantage for not getting them.  There really is a tremendous amount of content without them.

The cost for the adventure packs are Splitpaw Saga and Fallen Dynasty are 7.99 each and Bloodline Chronicles is 4.99.  Fallen Dynasty is really nice if you want to see an Asian flair to the game.  Splitpaw was pretty good too, Bloodline Chronicles is decent.

The Splitpaw main questline is bugged and hasn't been completable for the last 5 months. So I wouldn't recommend buying that adventure pack atm.
