<p>I think this is a great change and something that should of been added long ago. It's a pain in the [Removed for Content] to almost kill someone and have them zone on you to avoid death, or to have someone attack you then run away you start killing them.</p><p><i>That being said</i>--this sounds like it's going to give a huge advantage for bind rushers, or zergers. By not being able to zone, if you're fighting another group of people and one of them revives to reenter the fight... they can effectively lock you in the encounter and eventually zerg you to death through time. This isn't so much an <b>if</b> as more of a garuntee that this will and is going to happen... alot.</p><p>The only suggestion I can think of off the top of my head is to maybe prevent reviving on your own while someone in your group/raid has player hate (unless someone in your group/raid combat ressurects you).</p><p>Hopefully fixing one problem and introducing another problem at the same time can be prevented.</p>

stop whine, we wait for this change months and months and i hope it will go live. pvp in zones leading to dock with immunities is copletely twisted

Yes revive zerging might get tougher with this change, and yes a limit on reviving would solve it all at once.. would be nice all in all its a very good one tho

<p>Yeah. From what I've been hearing, this change sucks overall. People are just luring others into one on one fights, only to see a group of people charge into view and stomp them into the ground because they can't zone.</p><p>While someone might say "Don't fight near a zone"... well, does it <i>really</i> make sense to be forced to endure a fight like that 1 vs 1....+5? Not really imo.</p>

<p>This is one of the reasons I avoid PvP servers...</p><p>PvPers have no sense of honor or fairness. It's all about "OMGZ I TOTTALY JUZ PWNED U!!!" even though in truth...you didn't pwn me...your 5 friends pwned me.../ you didn't pwn me...that player 5/8/10/30 levels above me pwned me...you just got me flagged for ____ pvp...</p><p>I have NEVER had a fair fight in PvP...either you get attacked while your hp is low, while you are fighting an encounter, or while you are currently being ganked. Yeah, yeah. "Thats da rules of PVP! Don't like it...don't play on it." I don't play on it...but I get tired of seeing changes that benefit the gankers more than the non-gankers.</p><p>With my bases covered i can now reply. =P</p><p>Eh...I see both sides of this change, it prevents people from zoning, healing, then zoning back with a vengence, but it also prevents people from running from an unwinnable situation. Part of PvP is not just fighting, its also avoiding fights, and bad situations, MUCH like the infamous Sinking Sands Carpet...that gankers(the majority of PvPers imo and experience) said was a fair tactic and that "U juz suck 4 not being able to use it in timez!" The bad outweights the good on this change though, now when trying to level a char in the newbie areas such as Ruins, Graveyard, Caves, etc. Your screwed, I always see lowbie ganker groups (notice I said groups) that hide and troll those areas jus tso they could smack ya when your in battle, or healing up, or if you are just totally outmatched. Now when your level 5 you're just going to die and lose your money from the quests in those areas cause you got attacked by 3 lvl 11/12 players and you can no longer zone. *shrug*</p><p>makes me think of WoW...where its completely and completly acceptable for a player 50levels above you to kill you and camp your body. "itz part of PvP! u jus suck for not being able to beat him!" cough50leveldifferencecough! Then there is the whole chaotic pvp trick players use...now you can't een run into your house and lock the door for safety!! Oh well. I play PvE so overall this has no effect on me. but I feel the pain of those trying to get stuff done and lvl up on the PvP servers!</p>

First is, you cannot be attacked under level 10 unless you are in a T7 zone. And the tier 1 & 2 zones have a 4 level limit. Second, you *can* zone away if someone attacks you. You just can't zone if you engage. Third, someone 50 levels above you can never attack you unless, again, you're in a tier 7 zone. (this means 60-70 range mobs) I've seen it as a good change so far. Got attacked a couple of times near a zone, then they tried to flee and found they couldn't and paid the price.   <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> The only downside is group on group fights near zonelines makes it easier for zergers.

I just remember the lil bit of time i spent on a pvp server when they first launched them.</p><p>Although I thought if you got provoked to attacking in a city that ANY lvl could cut you down? If i remember...there is some threads about people provoking you to attack them then a 70 or etc would pop out and teach you a lesson. Chaos Flagged or something?</p><p>I thought the change forced you to not-zone as soon as combat started o_o. Didn't think that if you DON'T fight back you'll be ok. </p><p>Edit: Fixed a typo...</p>
