<p>For Karnor's I think it would be awesome if you either turned off mob leashing completely or set their leash radius to encompass the whole zone.</p><p>Oh, and give everything a wider social aggro range.</p>

<p>Heck Yes.</p><p>To be honost though, no matter what the leash distance is set to, EQ2 is a whole different animal than EQ1.  There is no penalty for death in EQ2 so groups have no reason to "train to zone".  It's easier and faster to just accept the wipe, quickly buff up and go back where you failed to start again.  For that reason I doubt Karnor's Castle in EQ2 will play like Karnor's Castle in EQ1.</p><p>This is all assuming there will be a contested dungeon called Karnor's Castle in RoK.</p>

What I was thinking was something more in rememberence to EQ1 but not something that would cause players to grieve others.  I was thinking it would be neat if they made a scripted event every 30 min or so maybe, that an NPC person would come running down with a train of mobs chasing him to the zone.  And if they wanted to make it a more chalanging event, they could add in players getting agro if they were close, meaning that every 30 min players had to be off the main center path or get adds. They could despawn though once they got right near the zone in to prevent someone just zoning in getting agro.  But anyway, just something I thought would be funny to see, a pack chasing a npc to the zone.

Indeed! Had some great times in KC.  On Karana, we had a system in which you trained the right side of the zone ( facing the zone exit ).  Sometimes you had people that were new to the zone, and you would see some crazy yells if people screwed up.  Fun, fun, fun!

They better make Karnor's a Contested Dungeon.....and atleast level 76-81 or something like that..with a x2 raid mob. Would be cool.

I am very excited for Karnor's Castle.  I think this was perhaps my favorite zone in EQ1, I hope they can reproduce the magic.

For the new housing in ROK, I think Karnor's should be converted to condos.
