Icons in step 3 are off on the LFG tab.

Crowd control should be the eye rather than the dagger for example.

Outstanding work Devs!

Just so you know, the artwork in the LFG UI on the test server is old place holder art that we had. All new icons and art should be up on test soon. I will post a full description of the new window and all its functions in the days to come. Thanks

Here's what they looked like on 5/4/2007, just to give you an idea. Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLere Vaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

Looks nifty.

I think it would be exceedingly wonderful if you could check someone's lockouts if they are LFG.

and what expansions people have so the group leader can plan accordingly. (With rule of weakest link of course, so if 1 group member is missing one expansion, then the whole group would be labeled as not having it until that person leaves)

Fantastic and much needed improvement.

I only have one suggestion... players should be able to mark quests, if thats too much perhaps just one, as "primary" quest or a few (3 or so) "interested" quests.

It'd be a great way to find people that were on the same 'step' in a questline you happen to be on, or tackle those old Heroic quests still in your questlog.

I know you could 'technically' do it with the free form 'purpose' field you are adding, but it would be much more precise to have a checkbox for "questing" and then ability to flag quests you are interested in working on when you go LFG

You may want to refer to this thread if you haven't read it already: Zliten wrote:
To start I am going to try to keep it as simple and easy to use as possible. Once the foundation of a working LFG system is in place, then we will go on to add some of the other feature requests that have been made that will be used. It would be terrible to wate days of work on a feature that did not get used at all, when that time could be spent working on another system that needs work. Thanks again and keep the ideas flowing. Once we have the basics working I will try to post more about it. Thanks Zliten
Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLere Vaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

As an added perk it would be awsome if you could save your input much like the broker window works. Most the time you would be entering the same info so it would be a plus to have this feature.

Gret work on this new LFG tool, Devinator!

Just some feedback on my part: 1. On the tab where you as individual enter you LFG criterea, add a box for you to enter the levelrange which you are interested in grouping (1-70) so that higher level chars can actually specify which levels they are willing to mentor to.

2. On the list of groups LFM, add the levelrange of group, or a approx lvl of group (consists of i.e. 61-70 players = 61-70).

3. Add tabs for Raid LFM, and individual Looking For Raid (LFR).

Again, great work

This will be a much needed improvement over the current system, kudos! Cant wait to see it go live.

As a suggestion - add the ability to include your quest. As a player looking for group, keep this simple - a checkbox that says "Include my Active Quest For Searching". The functionality should seem obvious.

For the searching tab, have a dropdown which gets populated with the active quest of the person searching for players. You be able to select a quest (multi-select I think adds too much complexity in filtering through the results but if you can work it out awesome) and have that as an optional criteria.

Along that vein, would it be possible to search for people with a specific quest open that might not be LFG at the moment or even online at the moment? I can see this as useful in planning groups ahead of time to work on HQ's, Epic quests etc.

Just my 2 cents worth and again, nice job.

Awesome to see the new LFG window! Very cool addition to the game.

I am so incredibly THRILLED to see the general LFG/LFM setup from EQ1, will make it much easier to get a group together because instead of the group only being able to conact YOU, you can contact a group YOU would be interested in! Great going team.
