Greetings, Can you consider adding option to replay Quest related dialog for quest in your journal? I don't mean voice over. What I mean is text NPC is saying to you while you're getting quest. Journal quest descriptions are often too brief to figure out what to do with quest. While going to side like ogaming is bad for gaming experience. I believe that option to read again quest giver dialog would greatly improve fun and quality of playing EQ2. Thanks for reading.

I agree, sometimes its been so long since you got the quest that its either look it up on line or delete the quest and hope you can find where you got it in order to get it again. That would be good for lore purposes too for those into it since most lore is given out as part of a quest.

That's one thing I missed from EQlive. When Lost Dungeons of Norrath was released, they introduced a Journal window that recorded NPC dialogue that you can check at any time if you wanted.

i would love for signature / heritage quest to have it in voice over so you could listen to the lore rather then read it.

much like in Titan Quest how they talk and you can replay the quest dialog or just read it.

I think it gives more atmophear to the game when it talks to you and has lore behind it.

My ideas for improving the Quest Journal:

Remove the number limitation on quests. We have well over 3,000 quests in the game. Let me pick them all up!

Allow better sorting. Not just by Category or Current Zone. I would love to see more sorting options like by level, status, etc.

Eliminate the group tab. Change the quest display to show who in group is on that same quest. Preferably on what step as well.

Re-sizable journal window. I would love to be able to read it better on my ultra high resolution screen instead of being forced to scroll. In fact, give me a check mark or some kind of button to temporarily hide the quest list so I only see the current quest.

Map improvement:

Zooming maps. Hello? EQ1 had it! That was years ago!

Re-sizable map and possibility for full screen please! Even DOOM 1 had full screen maps.

Better sense of height on the map if you would please.

Multiple waypoints. I'd love to plot out my journeyman's boot run ahead of time and just see it on map.

I would vote against eliminating the group tab. This has proven to be a great addition that allows me to help other guildies in figuring out where they are in a particular quest that I no longer have and helping them figure out what needs to be done next. Some great ideas for the rest, though.

Am I missing something in your description. I do love the remainder of your suggestions btw.

Further improvements on the quest journal I'll add:

Allow us to temporarily hide quests by type, zone, or level.

Allow us to multiple select quests at one time and delete. Either by the ctrl fashion or the shift fashion (Windows metaphores).

Show not only the quest reward on the quest but the starter item. Sure we can go through our inventory to find that item with the new label but it takes time.

Auto deletion of quest items that were only used to further the quest.
