Played a troubie on blackburrow, no pvp, for 23 levels. Bah. He's gone now. Played a dirge on Nag before rolling a swashie... wouldn't roll a bard again. If you pine for a challenge, go for it. If you pine to kill and [Removed for Content] on the grave of your victim(s) roll a rogue or predator. *shrug*

Bah! I have a lvl 44 Troub on Naggy. They are fun to play. You have to think while PvP'in with a Bard. However, it gets a lot harder in T6/7 because your DPS does taper off (or so I've read) when you get higher.

However, if you're looking to make a Bard solely for your PVP toon - lock at 45 and you'll have a blast! Or, if you're in for a challenge - then level him all the way up. Plus side - your Master spells on the broker will be a lot cheaper than other classes.

Not to mention your utility in Raids and groups.

If you feel up to the challenge - level your Dirge past the 30s and then make your decision then.

Valian bow is the last item I need to complete myself... then begin the fabled Adornments... which reminds me I need to create a thread...

Masters are not cheap for bards any more. Transmuting has killed all T7 fabled & legendary.

As for a bard in PVP, they are great fun up to T6. Once you get into T6, pvp is almost impossiable for a bard unless you are grouped. Untill you get full fabled gear, master spells, and adornments, dont count on getting many solo pvp kills as a bard.

If you want to kill players fast and effectivly, roll a brig / swash or ranger / assain
