<p>Where are the devs? Where is Scott Hartsman? Where is Thunderguard? Where is everyone? The game updates are worse, the devs (or anybody for that manner) never post in the forums anymore and it's turning into a ghost town in here. What happened to the attention we were getting 2 years ago? Did you guys get the game smooth enough to pull all the devs from it and put them in another game? Is EQ2 losing money and you had to let some go? What is it? Where did you guys go? Grimwell is a great guy and I like him but he rarely spends time in the forums. Blackguard, Mooreguard, Thunderguard and Gallenite (Scott Hartsman), use to post in here all the time.</p><p>I rarely see EQ2players updated anymore (use to be updated almost daily). I rarely see SOE posts anymore (except the moderators). Whats going on there in San Diego? Did you guys keep a skeleton crew on EQ2 and forget about us?</p><p>Heck, we use to see an occasional post by the SOE President in here as well. What happened?</p>

No players = no money. No money = no devs. No devs = no dev posts.

I think the big problem is that Moorgard and Blackguard were by far the most vocal of the devs here on the boards; when they left, things quieted down.  The individual devs are posting about as often as they have in the past, it's just that the vocal ones are gone.

To use another example I have used in the past when this question comes up, just because you drink Pepsi while playing EverQuest II, it doesn't make it so a thread about caffeinated beverages is appropriate for the Gameplay Discussion Forum. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

of those supposed 13 dev posts... half of them are in the non-gameplay discussion... Ya feels great to see that they'll talk about stupid stuff but not game stuff. The others are community updates and requests for us to respond to what they are changing and update notes from patches... very few actual dialogs between Devs and players. Don't try to spin trash into something worthwhile.

<p>It's just so irritating. You have Gameplay Discussion, Non-gameplay Discussion and the rest is all garbage that gets burried. Gameplay Discussion is kind of a universal portal for us. Who actually reads Forum Help and Discussion except those that surf these forums by clicking the "Recent Topics" thread like I do? You might as well consider anything else rubbish and not even post because you know ahead of time that your going to get really angree when someone dismisses your topic and nerfs it to a garbage forum for ghosts to read.</p><p>When I post I want time to stand still. I want everyone to stop everything their doing and throw some attention my way! I just blessed you with my infanite wisdom! APPRECIATE IT!</p><p>lol *takes deep breathe* OK I'm done! </p><p>Carry on!</p><p><img src="/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Discussing how they got into the industry. Hell, it's some interesting reading that I generally don't see on the NGD. This is an old argument, but I wouldn't necessarily call those posts stupid.

I started to dislike the gameplay forum a while ago. Why? It tends to give the perception that its the only forum SOE reads so more and more people post there. When the volume of posts gets high enough (you should check out the SWG gameplay discussion for example) everyone posts there and topics quickly get bumped of the front page. I suppose it's just me. I read and post there, but find it difficult to keep track of anything especially since we lost the self sticky feature that we had with lithium.

<p>I agree, for the past two days now I have been unable to log in due to "Could not connect to the log in server. All servers may be busy. Please try again in a few minutes."</p><p>My subscription is up for renewal in a few days. If this has not been addressed by then, SOE will lose another customer who just came back 3 months ago. And please, if all you are going to post is "Bye"  or something else that doesn't lend itself to the discussion, don't.</p><p>Please SOE fix this as I have really enjoyed the game since I came back. But I don't enjoy it enough to pay for something I can't play.</p>
