<p>Could you please make the Maximum lvl for all L&Ls 70, Currently all L&L quests from EQ2 - Classic lvl with you until 50, and the L&Ls that entered the game with DoF lvl with you until 60, while I agree with them lvling with you as you can complete these pritty much at any lvl, they all should lvl to 70 you will generally run into creatures that have L&L quest off and on all the way to 70. This goes for the Language quests as well.</p>

<p>Programmatically, it's simple.</p><p>I take it to be more about balance. The level for L&Ls (and presumably languages) is based on the LOWEST level of creature you can kill to update the quest, when the quest is released. They were a little nice on this in the initial release (allowing all to scale to 50, even when you could easily clear orcs and gnolls at L10). Personally, I think it's silly to make Bixie and Treant, as an example, still scale to L50, when you can complete them at L6 now.</p><p>More intriguing would be -- when you read the L&L starter, you choose the minimum level of mob that will update your quest (maybe of 10+, 20+, 30+, 40+. 50+, or 60+). The quest is then valued at 5 levels above that. For example, I'm L33 when I pick up Orc L&L, so I choose L30+ orcs as only counting for my quest. It's now a L35 quest. Someone else hits it at L14, and decides L10+ is good enough, so theirs is a L15 quest. This would be a bit more complex to implement, but kinda cool.</p><p>At least from DoF forward, they're not automatically L50 -- consider the maximum quest level for all L&Ls: [35] Kobold [50] ... all others ... [55] Clockwork, Minotaur [60] Brownie, Cyclops, Djinn, Harpy, Naga [65] Bugbear [70] Aviak, Drakota, Droag, Ravasect, Werewolf</p><p>Languages from dropped items: [15] Gnoll, Orc [30] Giant [35] Serilian [36] Goblin [38] Faefolk [45] Chaos Tongue, Shadowed Man [48] Lizardman [50] Djinn, Harpy, Undead </p>
