I decided yesterday to try the Kelethin Betrayal (as a Fae) in order to switch from one neutral class to another. However, I seem to be at a loss as to how to progress it further, or I'm bugged. I've never gone through any of the betrayals before (I've played since launch), and may just be missing something.

I successfully went through the initial part of the betrayal, got kicked out of Kelethin, and became a "citizen" of Haven. My faction dropped to -50k with Qeynos, FP and Kelethin. So far so good.

I made my way back to Kelethin, spoke with Gibrien Marsden, who gave me a quest to see Nimess Sessi at the Royal Court. Did that successfully, got the update and the +2k Kelethin faction reward. He then tells me to see Gibrien again to begin building my Kelethin faction. However, when I speak with Gibrien, I do get the "Work on my Kelethin Faction" prompt, but when selecting that he just tells me to see Nimess... no new quest, nada. I've tried talking to Nimess again, but get nothing.

I was under the impression we could betray Kelethin, and then come back to re-earn citizenship (and think I'm doing the correct steps). Do I need to do something like earn Qeynos citizenship first, and then just simply move to Kelethin? I've tried /petitioning it, but most of you know how that is.

There's something wonky with the quest. I left for Qeynos and now can't come back again. When I petitioned the GMs said to leave /feedback and meanwhile work on faction quests, which is impossible when the guy won't give them to you. So I'm at an impasse. The best you can do to complete your class change is finish the betrayal and become a citizen of Qeynos. Then, at least, you'll still be Fae friendly when the quest is eventually fixed.

Thanks for the confirmation. I succesfully became a Qeynos citizen last night for the meantime, without issue.

According to my petition request, "My issue has been elevated to a senior GM for correction". I'll post if it gets worked out.

Just wanted to add my name to the list. I managed to get the first quest done (thanks to Divine Aura allowing me to get past the agro guards to get to the NPC) but going back to Gibrian only net's me the same text he gave me for the first quest I just completed; and I can't even get it again! It can't be because my faction is too low surely seeing as Freeportians would start out at -50k as well don't they? So what gives?

I had my citizenship issue resolved this weekend thanks to a very helpful senior GM. According to him, it *is* a known quest issue that's currently being addressed by development.

He didn't give me particulars of exactly what's causing the issue, but it does seem tied to faction after speaking with Nimess initially. Once I had control of my character back after the "fix" the GM did, the only thing I noticed different was that my Kelethin faction was at +5k (from -48k). At that point, I was able to pick up the faction quests from Gibrien, and obtain Kelethin citizenship after hitting +10k faction.
