How are the sk's, pallys, and zerkers doing in pvp, what are their strengths and weaknesses (solo and group) compared with eachother and other classes. I'd think the crusaders would be good since they have ways of healing.

Quite sums it up with them I think. And yeah, they have quite a nice package for pvp. Self heals, high mit, good snare, fast hard hitting nuke.

well while long to take down pally isnt a threat, a zerker sure as hell isnt a threat, and a sk is probably the only decent offensive tank for pvp. Of course then u have avoidance tanks but I just always look at em as a fighting class and not really a tank class because of the leather and they're inability to dodge most npc attacks.

At level 55 with tap veins you feel like a god, at 70 when a swashy comes up with full burns running you better have PT up or you are toast. What I like is that in T7 healers and rangers are crunchy treats and everyone else complains about them hehe.

They seem to be about as powerful as I am. [Removed for Content] nice fights if they are well geared and just dont hit sprint and takes off with a dustcloud.

I'd put Paladins in the same group with Guardians really, they can't solo PvP and really only are Main Tanks in both PvE and PvP. A Berzerker breaks this mold a bit because he's definitely got the ability to be an MT in both PvE and PvP, but he's also got enough dps to PvP. I'd say that Berserkers don't really become good PvP'ers until T7 when they've gotten their AA's. Until then, they're mediocre.

But, I'd say that Shadow Knights, Bruisers and Monks are fun and capable PvP'ers the entire way up and in T7. Of the 3, the SK is the most capable soloer since he has Evac, heals, ranged attacks, etc., but all 3 can solo PvP. In T2-T5 Monks and Bruisers can do very well, but they're best in a group that has someone else to snare/root their victims, otherwise a lot of people get away from them. SK's have Harm Touch, which some players abuse by HT'ing then logging onto an alt for 15 minutes while it recharges then HT'ing again, rinsing and repeating. But all in all, I'd say that SK's, Bruisers and Monks aren't really preferred MT's by most groups.

So the real question you need to be asking is whether you want to be the MT or not. If you go SK, Bruiser or Monk, most groups will not want you to MT for them, becasue they're filled with Scouts who want to DPS and they want a Guardian, Zerker or Pally to MT for them while they DPS, so finding a group may be a problem.

I have never lost a fight to an assassin (paladin) up to T6, where mine is at now. They are just so easy to kill.

If you have cure potions on, then wiz / warlocks can be easy if you rush in and stun, nuke, etc. Your resists and the player's skill play a part of course.

Paladins make good second support or main in group pvp if used right. I have yet to be in much group pvp because it is Venekor T6, which is a graveyard to find groups sometimes.

I would love to have a guard/zerk group with me as support sometimes so I can concentrate on harrassment, heals, taunts, and AEing.
