Resists are STILL broken... People who have next to no resists, out-right resist roughly 7/10 of my spells. I am a warlock, all masters/ad3s (mostly masters) with 433 disruption, I shouldn't be resisted at all, but when a blue con farmer resists 5/5 spells something has gotta give (This farmer then turned around and didn't miss a spell on a fabled out raider, yes, I lost to a farmer).

Please SOE do something, for the love of god, anything. This isn't right.

Maybe that farmer was a twinked out killer, and you just got owned?

And from the sound of "I shouldn't be resisted at all" he gave you what you deserved.

but i think he is ´right.. somehow. fyi 433 diruption means : 350 is the max skill ( without buffs ) which means he has the skill of a lvl 70 player ( 70 lvl á 5 skill points = 350 ) so 433 dsrutption means - he has the skill of a normal unbuffed lvl 85 (!!) char. mind that i donßt know how that now scales according to the dimishing story but it was like that before the dimishing return points were introduced. therefore you should imagine that basically a lvl 85 char had have 5 resists of his spells vs a.. yeah i dont know how the opponents stats have been ... but let´s assume lvl 70 treasured roxxor

greetz ^^

My wizard also has somewhere over 420 disruption skill, but resists do happen. it could be this farmer had a ridiculously high wisdom combined with a high mitigation towards whatever type of magic you were throughin, or could have been really really bad luck, both happen. Gotta get them mit reducing spells in (wizards have a cold fire one, dont know what any other mages have) they help alot. Or you could find the guy, wait till hes not paying attention, put an atribute draining hexdoll on him, and see how much he resists then

Sony use to only like Scouts and now they like Druids. Sony hates cloth wearing casters, hats off to those of you that still try to play a broken/hated class.

I don't know what your talking about resist are working fine on my ranger. All my resist are mid 40's to 50's except my disease resist which is at a measly 1200. I not only hardly resist spells but I don't even mitigate them any more. Harm touch hits me for up to 6k non crit. When it comes to resist I find its more about mitigation then resist.

I tryed killing a mob with my wizard and got 6 resists 5 were my root spell (hehe ya go figure at adept 3) and 1 was my nuke. I dont think it really matters what happens to resist rates ur still gonna get resisted. Thats 1 thing this game should take from vanguard spell casting. When im fighting 1 peep or more ive got spells flying anywhere. Somtimes u'll get a resist but thats just because maby they dodged it or it didnt cast right. But you dont get this. Resist, resist, Lets try the nuke! Resist, the slow spell? Resist. OH PLS GOD LET THE ROOT STICK!!! .... ..... RESIST! Its just messed up lol. Considering now if I should just delete my wiz and start over with a class I know will have the bennifit of magic. Like a fury or somthing.

what he's talking about is someone with very high resists are not resisting and gettin hit for max spell dmg while others with very minimal resists are out right resisting everything and/or recieving very low spell dmg.

I have very high resists and outright resist extremely infrequently it seems. Again, it could be just me.

As a person my spells should be (based off of the way disruption is supposed to work according to an old dev post) should be approximately 50%+ harder to resist. Now a guy with like maybe 40% resists, probibly less should not resist 70% of the time, in fact he probibly shouldn't resist 5% of the time.
