I've been back to my old server these last few days, and one thing I've noticed is that in some cases the prices on nagafen is actually lower.

Heard of rationing? And of the black market of stuff that acompanies it?

If the numbers on the broker are higher, you gain cash faster yourself. It's not like you cant go harvest corals or blackened iron yourself to get some cash, or even just spend 5 hours to get thru to t4 wheere the prices drop radically. and I mean radically. From being 1-2 pp / master to 10-20g / master for my coercer.

And yet.....

We too are subject to hoarders and market manipulators. See the price of alkaline loam for example. The real truth is that this isn't just a symptom of PvP servers. The same thing occurs on PvE servers as well. Since I can pretty much run around with my toon and harvest t2 stuff relatively safely, I put what I can on the broker as low as I can, without being so low a manipulator can immensely profit off of buying it ahead of someone who needs it. IMO though, I think maybe since the change in t2 recipes the demand for such has increased, raising the scarcity on the broker as well.

Heck, I am the main supplier of 5g treasured items (50% markup due to reselling and transmuting). Transmuting has been a real godsend for getting the economy moving for most servers. Starting players would usually have to wait a month or more before seeing their first plat. Now if you have the space in your bags and on the broker, that can be made overnight with t1 and t2 items.
