Hey Everyone,

I thought I'd start a little fun thread. Just to lighten the mood around here. I don't know if this is the right area, but here it goes. What is your favorite thing about Eq2 that you miss in other mmo's that you have played. For me right now, my favorite thing about Eq2 is the voice overs for almost all the npc's. Because it adds so much to the immersion of the game. I love it so much. So, what is your favorite thing everyone

Thanks for any replies. Have fun with it

Struzi, Level 18 Sorcerer (Soon to be Wizard), EverFrost

Just came back since '05. I hope this game is still as great as it was before.

This may sound really dumb, but the default UI in EQ2 is about a hundred times more useful and a thousand times more customizable without downloaded mods than anything else I've tried. I was ready to put my fist through the monitor within my first 10 minutes of WoW because I couldn't get the windows to do anything useful.

I can only compare EQ2 to the two other mmos i have played, so there are two things I love about this game.

This game is way better then wow in the fact that its not a bunch of little kids running around. Its a much more mature community.

Eq is better then SWG cuz it actually works, and isnt broken to hell.

My favorite thing about EQ2 is the community. This game draws a great group of people. For the most part, we all help each other when we can and you can always find someone who is interested in whatever it is you want to do with an mmorpg. People keep their humor and don't take everything WAY too seriously. That is what I love about this game. People remember that it is just a game, and that they are playing with REAL life people with feelings and ideas that a person can learn from with an open mind Y'er a great communtity peeps

Some people may believe that PvP is broken, unbalanced and what not in EQ2.. but, believe me, its light years ahead of the other games out there right now.

Two things: 1) Same as EQ1, size. Other games worlds feel small in comparison to EQ and EQ2. 2) This one is more important. Scope. There are many different ways to achieve in this game. You can concentrate on exp, achievement, crafting, titles, status, etc. Not only that, you can then choose different ways to get what you want to achieve. (Quest, hunt, do writs, explore etc etc)

The bells. I hate wasting my play time with time sink traveling. I want to get where I am going to play not waste time getting there. We need more bells.

Those who are on because they can't play, i.e. they're working... or they are the kind of people that will find anything to complain about, and make them sound like the most tortured and abandoned people on the planet. Hopefully the second type keep spamming the forums and spend less time in the game =D
